I understand that it’s a shitty rust bucket but the fact that your friend had to make it worse by scratching the front fender with a key for literally no reason kind of pisses me off. Anyways still a cool and unique build, and continue working on it just scrap the apocalypse theme and just make it rally, and make it somewhat a “clean” build without intentionally breaking things just because “why not”. If I were you, I wouldn’t worry too much about the views right now. I’ve never been a KZbinr, so I guess I don’t really understand how it works, but I would think that the time of year has to be somewhat responsible for the drop in views. A lot of your fan base are teenagers to college age people, and right now is honestly a very rough stretch of school. Wait until mid-June and I’m sure your views will start climbing back up. You are a fantastic content creator and I always love your videos. Keep up the good work

Throwback 40 years for me! I had a 71 chevy van that was done up in the 70's van craze. Like you, the sliding door did not clear the tires and fender flares, so there were extended links for the slider. That slider would come off the track often and was not fun. Right before you'd asked about how viewers felt about this build, I'd thought to myself, it's hard to get into this one because you're not putting much care into it... NEVER thought I'd dig the bus build, but that one quickly became one of my favorite youtube builds because of the amount of thought, and care you put into it... it was art. I built a lifted Miata for our Gambler and got a lot of static and criticism/jokes, etc. during the build process... the major turning points in the process regarding the critics were A: the day I mounted my Super Swampers on the car, and B: the day I called it "done enough" and loaded it on the trailer. Now everyone loves the car, I've had offers to buy it, it gets waves, questions, horn honks and thumbs up everywhere it goes. I have a feeling your process will be similar... once people can start to see your vision as you have it in your head, they'll come around. Of course there will always be a percentage that hate you 'cause they ain't you, but it's the internet, its part of life; like mosquitos- a little annoying but they really don't matter in the long run. Carry on man, I'm looking forward to the end result. #ABG. (P.S. I second the commenter who suggested a net door, only I'd try to find some heavier cargo net; or... gullwing door!)

The thing that gets me excited about the video is the fact it's built for the gambler 500, i'm Looking forward to that aspect. The whole appcolype theme... not so much, I think the more the build comes along the more views you'll gather.. mayby 'hire' somebody else so the builds go a little bit faster & smoother. I love everything about it. But I love almost anything apocalypse themed. The amount of rust is a bit much for me but I think it will be interesting to see if it actually holds up. I guess most people don't know the potential that previas have. There's a few guys that successfully drift previas and have some pretty cool builds. I'm stoked on yours, It's one of my favorite current builds to watch. Some suggestions; A) turn your rear lower shock mounts 90 degrees so that bolt doesn't bind and snap (or realistically the super rusty mount will break off). B)The rod on your sliding door can be cut and welded longer to clear the bigger tire. 80's van guys do it all the time to clear their crazy fiberglass flares. Keep up the good work man!

Personally I haven’t followed the build bc I really don’t like half-assed builds. I think it’s kinda stupid that money is going into something that’s going to be driven once, break, and then scrapped. Doesn’t help that the “apocalypse theme” is basically code for a slapdash pile. Part of the beauty of building a car is the meticulous attention to detail you put into restoring and modding it. I’d be interested in a build of a car that is properly rebuilt, and than driven so we can see how it holds up long term. Or if it’s a money issue, make the series about how much you could profit from the labour and parts you put into it. For all I care make a civic time attack car, just do it right.

Offroad conversion vans solved the sliding door with a slightly longer linkage. You might have to change the track or the bracket that slides in it, but you can make the door swing out more as it slides. I originally found your channel because of the Rally Miata. I love that project and I love this one too, I always wanted to do something fun with a Previa. I'm not so interested in the "normal" car stuff (not saying I dislike them, just not as into it). The Previa project is when I started watching your videos on a regular basis. So not everyone dislikes it. Anyways, I say do what you like to do and forget about whether its going to get views or not. Worst thing you can do is start changing the channel in an attempt to attract more people.
