I like The Horseshoe in Bossier. Always a great room and the casino has excellent comps. A room for me is just a place to sleep, shower and store my belongings and I've stayed at casinos all around the country. It and Harrahs Louisiana Downs are my go to's in Shreveport / Bossier. Consider the source and give it a shot. Some folks always find the bad in everything. Me.....I'm just glad to have the opportunity to go!

Thanks for your honest review. Really appreciate you sharing. I use to love to go to the horseshoe in bossier, but once they took the buffet out , it really went down , in my opinion. The customer service has become below average. Now, when I go to Louisiana, I just bypass the horseshoe all together. I usually just go to Margaritaville or I go across the water to Shreveport and go to Bally's or Sam's Town. Honestly, I've gotten hooked on the Oklahoma Choctaw Casinos, lol. I mostly spend my dime in Oklahoma and now that we have a couple of casinos in Arkansas that are a couple of hours from where I live, I usually gamble there when I'm not in Oklahoma. Wishing the best with your channel.

That was a good and big buffet too! The service has really declined. We too enjoyed Margaritaville more. I have to checkout Choctaw because Winstar is not my jam. I've given it enough chances. Thanks for watching and appreciate the comments

Local resident of the Shreveport/Bossier City area, also former employee at Horseshoe. The casino is definitely on the decline in the last 5 or so years. Margaritaville or Bally's are the newest/recently remodeled and best here currently. Also it's pronounced Boss-E-A City with a French sound. Also, stay away from downtown Shreveport on the weekends and most evenings, the crime here has gotten out of hand and just keeps getting worse. Also in the Horseshoe, if you measure some of the legs and feet on the furniture, you will see that most are not even, that's because the casino itself is leaning more and more every year due to the foundation not being properly put down when it was built. If it doesn't get torn down, I'd estimate that in next 10-15 years it's going in the river.

@drhodes4204 😲 that's terrifying! I used to really enjoy the property but it's really gone downhill... I chalk it up to Eldorado taking over. If I get up there again, I'll check out Bally's as it's the only one I didn't get to. Thanks for the comments - very insightful 👍

I’ve had some luck there but I get no comps.The only place that comps me is Boomtown but I never hit there.Gambling in Bossier and Shreveport sucks for me.

It's definitely not a worthwhile destination. The Chocolatier and Pumpkin Spice 🙄 for T and Shiplap and Strawberries and Cream for me. Delicious!

I love HBC. Better than Oklahoma. Dealers and pitboss are personable and nice. That place is awesome

Not what it used as are most all of Caesars casinos. Eldorado took them over summer of 2020. Not putting money back into these properties.
