MRI does not involve radiation. MRI uses magnetic fields to create images. Therefore in the full name is Magnetic Resonance Imaging. 😊

The radiation is low intensity radio frequency pulses meant to flip the orientation of the protons in your body's hydrogen atoms. Think the type of radiation coming from cell phones and radar, it is not ionizing radiation, which is the type that can give you cancer and radiation poisoning. It would be interesting to hear about the effects of the strong magnetic field on things that shouldn't be in there like phones and pacemakers.

I am disappointed at doing mri tech in India. Too low salary, can't afford what i want to do. I wish, i will be in usa, uk, or Canada.
