That was one of your best reviews Mitko. I truly thank you for bring this subject to life and adding the personal reflection. We often glamorize these machines and just as often, if not always, forget they were killing tools.

A great review of the MiniArt T54-3. It looks a challenging kit to build. Kits like this, you need a lot of patience and to take your time. Thanks Mitko.

As always, an excellent review on a very nice kit. Thank you, Mitko. Yes, I remember building kits with 2 to 3 thousand parts, 30 to 40 years ago, and having a lot of fun with them. Wish my hand and eye coordination was as good now...

Ralph Miko the scary number of small parts in the turret is what make me wonder how many kits will be actually completed.

What a fantastic and in-depth review..Your run down of each part of this model was illuminating and explained so well. This also went for what these tanks took part in,against the Hungarian people.Reminding us that every scheme tells a real story. I’ve came back to the hobby after a longtime away.So I’m enjoying building up my skill’s and tricks again on other kits..But I really can’t wait to tackle one of these..🤞😉👍

Great review of the Mini Art T54-3,Mitko.I gotta get me one of them. The detail is fantastic. I have a friend who is Hungarian. His father was a Panzer IV commander during WW2.

John Burdis sounds interesting. Not many panzer tankers are stll alive. Unfortunatley.

Another great review Mitko, as always! I hope to see you build one of these sometime! Some very sad moments in history indeed, Hungary in '56, Czechoslovakia in' 68 and East Germany in '53....which I only learned about some months ago, thanks to Michael (Hamilkar) and one of his dioramas! So, now I'm looking for some good books about these historical events and then three 1/35 tanks! Looking forward to many more of your excellent videos!

Duececoupe Thanx! I just recently found out about 1953 from Michael. It was swept under the carpet obviously. Who knows how many died there and yet again soviets covered it all.

Cool kit for sure. We are spoilt for choice with takom and miniart now. Thanks for the review

Armour Empire this is far better than Takom but for more challenging too. Takom is comparable with Miniart's non-interior version and stll the thickness of everything here is much more up to scale.

Sgt Bones thanx! I think so too. Mostly the insides. And those of the turret especially.

Not only it's ramification as a model, but also a challenge historically. I knew about the historical events themselves, but not really thought about the vehicles used. My mothers side of the family came from Buda and Pest, so the history of Hungary has always been interesting to me.

Sgt Bones very neat city. I spent there like a month back in 1994 and it was beautiful.

a very "tasty" looking kit there! you did a good presentation. there was also an uprising in east germany in 1953, which was also rolled over by soviet tanks...just tells you how much this communism dictatorship sucked.

You're right, Michael. I was visiting an aunt in East Berlin when this happened. But when my grandfather and I saw T-34s rumbling down the street, we thought it was high-time to get back to West Berlin. We didn't see any T-54s though.

Ralph Miko my father was a T-34 tanker when he was in the army /compulsory/. He told me that in 67, the guys slightly older than him were sent to participate in calm the Czechoslovakian uprising. So the soviets weren't the only ones sent to set example. They took "fraternal countries" /as they call other slavic nations/ with them. Most likely ordered them. I can only guess but probably in 53 and 56 was the same. No wonder only those who benefited from communism liked the regime.

Plastic is very thin and fragile. Lots of mistakes in instruction scheme. no gear box, interior near driver - simplified (just a piese of plastic). Lots of unnecessary parts from other types of this model. Imho, it looks like a payed overview, no offence.

+Андрій Кругляков plastic being thin and parts that remain for spares after building was never a bad thing.
