Thank you! I really think I need “dolls eyes” in my Barbie apothecary cabinet. I found my pink salt and can’t wait to make the salt lamp. You can get wooden button “plugs” at the home diy store for plugging screw holes. I’ve been using them to make stoppers for my bottles that are different from the corks. Just for a change.

How does the paint on the beads hold up over time? Does the oil make the paint peel off of the beads?

Mine are a just few days old, they look fine in there today. I can’t see how they would rub off if just sitting in the jars as they are, they can’t move much since the jars are full w/o room to move about. But if you’re worried they might then don’t put the oil in, just leave them in dry.

You might be able to use glycerin too.
