You should add the smaller details in (like how you sanded the edges of the top/bottom of the kettle in order to make them fit). I'm sure it's frustrating for some people when theirs doesn't match up and they don't know how to fix it. It's always the small details that get in the way of a really nice looking polymer clay item.

Wanda Holency wrap the wooden beads in a thin layer of tinfoil or make a small tinfoil ball and follow the same steps.
