For a first time user of polymer clays, you have roasted yourself a Delectable looking roasted pheasant- straight from the spit! AND iIt was a Brilliant idea to carve off a drumstick as a serving too! 👍👍

About 5.00... just heard your cat for the first time. Not distracting at all. Sounds adorable, like it's having a lovely snooze ❤

I have never used polymer clay, but I got one of those 24 colours packs, for not a lot and ordered a ceramic tile to do it on and also to put in the oven. Thank you for the vaseline tip, I honestly have no clue what I am doing. Its beautiful, the whole house and the food...I am really inspired now as I have the clay and the tools so am now really wanting to try it out.

Great tip about the Vaseline to soften dried out polymer clay! Your Chicken turned out great! I need to try some of the clay varnish! Looks really great in your setting! Your house is coming together VERY NICE! Thank you for sharing!

Thanks so much! 😊 I’m glad I’d heard about the Vaseline trick… otherwise all of the clay would have gone to waste!

I nearly got out my carving knife, it looks so realistic. I used to work a lot with polymer clay, I think I might start again. I didn't realise you could use petroleum jelly to soften, that's a help as I've got a lot of hard clay. I went to a national trust property called Packwood house in Warwickshire that was restyled by the owner back to tudor design you would have liked it. Thanks xxxx

Hehe your comment made me smile! Ooo definitely try the petroleum jelly and hopefully it will work for you too. The National Trust property sounds great - thank you for the suggestion!
