Ain't it though?! I'm all misty eyed with my wife right now telling her tales of the hood back then. I went to school with all three of these guys at the time this film was made . I had no idea this film existed 😂

I grew up in Milwaukee, the most racist city in America. With a single father. We were on welfare my whole childhood. No you can't control circumstances but you can control how you respond. Cry a river build a bridge and get over it. It's up to what you make of your life. Especially in America. Opportunities are the same for everyone here

Hiding under our sidewalks was a normal thing. From Police or Kings or whoever . Pilsen is elevated so the old sidewalks had doors in your front yard that opened directly up in the old coal bin kept under the sidewalk .You got your coal for your furnace delivered at the smaller sewer caps on the sidewalks . The just dropped down in a chute . Not sure how many are even left since they starting filling them up in the later 90's

Jaja my wife is crying while watching this . I asked her why and she said shes sad for how we all grew up. I loved my years in Pilsen. I was a white boy and everyone was cool with each other if you were from Oakley anyway 😂 Let me say none of these three ever fucked with me and my friends. I watched Lil Man light up a joint in front of our 6th grade teacher 😂 the teacher didnt do shit but wait till he was done. Homie was probably 5'1 at the time

Update I'm still a white boy 😂 but only certain people get to say that shit to me 😂. Ever notice how white folks don't understand why I get offended at some dudes who call me white boy 😅
