Or you can pre-bake it. Small canes like that slice very easy. In you want to make a 1/2 strawberry cut the slice of pre-baked cane and just add more red to one side, shape, blend, and add texture and bake again. 😁

How long do you back your canes if your gonna cute them after?

Kelsee Saavedra I baked these for about 15 minutes - I find that baking them for a little longer is better than ending up under-baking, cause then it's impossible to cut them :)

Yeah when I baked my canes before when I cut them they were crumbling and and like turned white

That use to happen to me as well, but then I started to bake my canes longer and I haven't had the problem since :)
