Those 'lazy techniques' are half the reason we all tune in. Quite fun, and yield great results. And I still love how a mob of little projects add up to a great scene. Thanks o/

Thank you for the kind compliments! You make me feel less of a hack...Which is greatly encouraging. 🙂

The fence looks great, I really need to get some big make up brushes I think those would be great for dry brushes and light spot coats on projects. The weathering is really nice, and real looking.

I have a couple of make up brushes, they're sooooo soft, they do an amazing dry brush, very different from a regular brush. You'll have to have a go with some asap, just nick one off the missus, she'll never know....😉😂

Love your base-coat application method. Going to try using a larger brush, next time I make a fence, pier, etc. These pickets look great, and the whole build is just so nice

I've never made a pier before, I'd like to see the larger brushwork on one, I think the weathered ocean look would be pretty spot on. I hope you make a video if you create a pier!

Why did you need to draw up the jig? Just lay toothpicks and slats down alternately. Then lay a long thin weight down on them along the middle. Then do you drop of glue on each slat etc.
