I liked and subscribed you have a lot of good information on your channel . I see you have your centrifugal clutch facing outward , I’ve seen others face it the other way . What is the difference?

The clutch can be put on either way you want, it does the same thing either way. I put it on that way because it lines up better with the rear sprocket. Drilling the slots for the 212 can be difficult (keeping the engine parallel to the rear) so sometimes you will have to mess with the spacing of the clutch on the crank shaft.

Ever get one that runs fine but will not even pull itself? I don’t think it is the clutch.

The throttle cable could be messed up, or the clutch is shot. Most likely your throttle

Yes very durable engines

Ok is 10w40 better? Or is 10w30 better?

@@troyholland3436 go with 10w30 unless you're in a very low temp area below freezing, then it would be 5w30

I always use centrifugal clutches from Amazon. They are about $20 a piece

@@BlakesBuilds ok. I’m building a doodlebug like that one and I thought that my clutch wasn’t going to work because it went out too far and wouldn’t line up but then we figured out that we could flip it around and make it work. Thanks for the info though
