I had one of those in the early 70s. Bought it used for $25 when I was about 9 or 10. The throttle cable broke, so my pops put on a throttle lever off a lawnmower. Someone had removed the rear shocks and put galvanized pipe for struts to make it a hard tail. The Sissy bar pad was missing, but it still had the original seat.

Nice video. That Honda that has the crank up starter was cool. Reason being is because I have a blue one. Haven't seen many of those around. I got kinda excited when I seen this one in your video. Cool mini bike video for me because I've never been to a mini bike swap meet even had a judging show. Thank you for sharing.

WHY did you zoom right past those Taiwan made?/SST’s? Oh man I had a purple one when I was a kid. I wonder how much those are now. Thinking back on it, we always had trouble with it and it was heavy as a tank. 😂

The problem today is everyone that has a old frame wants to get rich off of it. It crazy you can't find a old mini bike anymore to fixup to ride, it's cheaper to buy a new one.

We never had a new minibike or gokart back in 1950s-60s, just made our own from electrical tubing, lawn mower or wheelbarrow wheels/tire, lawn mower or snow blower engines...
