As a huge Subnautica fan, ive always wanted a resin replica like this. The sea dragon ones were great, but personal fav has to be this one with the ghost leviathan, with how you got the paint inside of the body to still keep its transparency. As well as the tiny and quite accurate to scale prawn suit as well. Incredible piece!! ^_^ ♥

Are these creations inspired from a movie or something? I'm a new subscriber and I'm not hip to what is happening.
@hazardousfury2 жыл бұрын
@@sonyaethaniel It's from a video game called subnautica. It's a survival-crafting and exploration game that has you crash landing on an alien planet after your ship get's shot out of the sky by something and you collect resources to bigger and better equipment to go deeper into the ocean to figure out the secrets the planet holds. The ghost leviathan is just one of many Leviathan class sea creatures in the game that you have to contend with. That little mech in the diorama is about twice the size of a human so you roughly get the sense of scale that these things are at, they're absolutely massive.

I too love Ghost Leviathans, I have each one named in my head, usually with ghost related names (Phantom, Spirit, etc...). This one in particular that lives near the Gargantuan skull I simply call Junior. Ghost Leviathans feed on microscopic organisms when adults, although they remain highly territorial. The one living near the skull I have found to be the most outwardly aggressive compared to others. This, coupled with his voracious appetite for river prowlers, suggests he is the youngest Ghost we encounter in game. I have a soft spot for Junior (even when he kills me lol) so seeing him immortalized in such a beautiful piece is just spectacular.

If you can't afford a gas chamber then you can also use the resin in layers. Many use this technique to paint these 3D fish in. You make a small layer of resin then you let all the bubbles come to the surface and then you remove them with a long lighter. It also worked very often for me.
