MiniCity Beyond Library Book Nook Build & Review (Quick Version)

This episode is for the MiniCity Beyond Library Book Nook. This was a different company than what I have ordered from before and was quite pleased with how this turned out. This one also includes a dust cover and touch sensor to turn the lights on and off. This is the shortened or Quick version for those who just want to see the final Model.

This is so cool! I'm thinking of buying myself the max version of this for Christmas - just like this one, double the width. The only thing I don't like about booknooks is that I spend so much time on the little details and many of them can't be seen from the front opening. I keep hoping they'll add hinges so that they could be displayed open down the middle or closed between the books. I have a couple with a big window in the side or top and that's always nice.

@EmYu03, Thanks for the question. I mean it depends on what your willing to spend on something if it peaks your interest. There are a lot more book nooks than there was a couple years ago, but it just depends on what you like. I think when I got this over the winter it may have been on sale, but the majority of book nooks are around the same price. I really liked this because it did have a couple things I hadnt seen before in other ones, which where the see through railings and the glass globe. So, I dont have a good answer for you, again depends on if you like one and what it has to offer, plus this one coming with glue was a bonus as well. You could always wait to see if the price comes down and see if there is another one you would like to build. Check out my other book nook videos and see if there is one that catches your eye. I received my kit yesterday (21/08/2024). Did your package smelled also strange when you opened it? My kit have a strange smell. Like more products I get from China.

@Disteltje, thanks for the question. Yes, I have received 2 models from Minicity and they both had a smell to them. I left the box open and took everything out and after a day or so, didnt notice the smell as much. By the time I was halfway through building it, never noticed it again. Not sure if it's the wood or something else, but may have to give it a day. Hope that helps, good luck with yoru build.

Im doing this at the moment..but its so hard to put it together once ive finished all the sides. They refuse to fit 😢😢

@SB-nq8jr, Thanks for the comment, sorry you are having issues. I would look and see what is causing the sides to not go in, is it the tabs or parts of the furniture or pieces on the wall itself and then try and adjust where needed. If the tabs are the problem, try sanding down the ends to get them to fit better and you may have to glue them to get them to stay. Hope that helps and please ask other questions if needed, good luck.
