Perfection while bujoing had been my downfall many times. But last October I decide frack complex overly precious design, intricate embellishments and just do it. I found you and your no frill approach and it’s working! Last month my water bottle leaked in my bag, soaked half my journal. Past me would have rage quit at warping my shrine to perfection. Not this time, I felt sad wrote about it. Dried my journal and I’m still using it, warts and all. Now I’m enjoying the clarity it’s bringing me, the comfort of reflection and milestones I’ve accomplished in the last months.

I aspire to this level someday! I struggle with trying to be perfect and planning out everything when ultimately I just need to remember that Bujo is a tool and like all tools they get gritty with use.

I found this to be almost poetic, where your journal stood for life: just because we have imperfections in our life doesn’t mean we stop living and enriching it. Many thanks 🙏

Many people get stuck into thinking their daily use bullet journal is actually their art book. They often get so focused on it looking pretty and perfect that they lose the whole point of using a bullet journal - to capture your tasks, make sure they get completed or re-assigned, to capture your mood, and that’s about it.

This is the first video I've seen of yours and I'm instantly in love. Absolutely love your sense of humor and approach. My bullet journal is hardly a bullet journal and more of just a regular planner with extra space for notes except I make it myself. It's worked for me, and I don't usually embellish it beyond choosing a colored pen to write with each month. I fell off of using it last year and the year before, but I've missed having a journal, and it's been fun to flip through my old ones and see what I was doing in the past.

thanks to you i finally feel the courage to make my own. Grabbed one of old empty notebooks lying around, it doesn't have a hard cover, but i'll take it as my first bujo experiment, so after it's filled, i'll go and buy something more pretty.

Thanks for the upload. Slight brain dump. I had been feeling like life was getting out of control and wanted to reset. Not a New Years thing, just coincidence. Then, I came across your channel and bam! Bullet Journaling. I've doing it off and on for 7+ years. When I feel I've got control, I stop. But, like with many of us, also get discouraged by the volume you *can* do with bujo. Your channel is perfect! I wanted the most straightforward, no fluff method to keep it simple. Your vid on values became bedrock for me. Clean, simple, objectives and that's exactly what I am looking for. One goal is to get away from pop culture noise and emotion baiting distractions. I unsubs from a bunch of YT channels, but sub to yours right away. Your content is some the best on the platform. Best advice, best topics, and best editing. Can't wait for 2024!

Happy new year!sorry for this super belated message that I should have left one year ago. I have been bullet journaling for 5 years but arrived at the pointed that I wanted to give up, because I I spent too much time trying to make it pretty instead having it serve me as a tool. Until I saw your simplistic journal set up video last new year, followed your method, which totally changed my relationship with my journal. Last year has been my best year since I started Bujo, I finished 2 journals, and achieved a lot of personal growth thanks to it. A very heartfelt thank ❤🎉you

I love this start of this video. to the inner chaos! I see friends of mine with beautiful journals and I like them, but its really not me. I been working on becoming an Minimalism/Esentialism/Mindful living. This was my first year doing a full year Bullet journal, and it was a nice journey. A little sadge about the end of the book, but its really nice to look at now, as I get ready to set up December. I just ordered a Scribbles That Matter Book, I was thinking of the Bullet Journal Book itself, but something called me to the STM book. Thank you for the video... Already getting anxious for the next BuJo-urney

I never thought of the brain dump as a monthly thing. I kept trying it as, well, to do hoarding over my entire future lifetime. Now it makes sense why I tended to ignore the brain dump, because I have enough stuff to last past my lifetime until the next major extinction event. I am going to move mine and try for monthly brain dumps. Also, the little hands - for brief moment at the flip through I thought you upsized the journal (dang, she went for the ginormous one). And the “how the f&$k am I a doctor?” Laughing - I hear that in the hospital all the time! 🙂
