I have just ordered "A is for Australia" - looks brilliant. I have been procrastinating with decluttering but breaking it down into more manageable bursts certainly helps. We don't have enough shelf space but I am not prepared to let a lot of our books go yet, so I will be filing those away in a box which we can leave out of sight, come back to at a date I've pencilled in and see if we still want to keep them!

It’s a great book! I understand, I find it is hard to get started with decluttering but once you have I promise it has a ripple affect and it feels so much more motivating! I love your idea with filing away the books your unsure of. I also find checking if some books are available at the library, that always makes me feel better letting go too! Thank you for watching x

Very inspiring! I definitely have a lot of books that need a new home.... especially seeing we can get them from the library should (in the unlikely event) my children want to read them again

Aww thanks Mel! Decluttering is so worth it. I love our library, it really helps knowing we can find most things we need there. Thank you for watching!

I am totally watching this right now to get motivation to get organizing and decluttering my own homeschool room. I tend to lean towards minimalism in most things but I have a hard time not buying all the things when it comes to homeschooling. We have such a small space though so now it’s just so overwhelming! I admire your space, it’s so inviting, clutter free, and peaceful! You are tempting me so much with your praise for Blossom and Root science!! I have tried it in the past but switched to something else, though I’m not satisfied with it either. Which level of B&R covers human anatomy? We are getting nearer to puberty talks age and I love the idea of pairing it alongside an anatomy study!

Aww thanks so much Heather! I understand, it’s very tempting with all the amazing resources we have access to! B&R is wonderful, I think the science is the best we’ve done so far in terms of curriculum. I really feel like it’s the best value. One year could easily be done in two years there is so much! So we are using level 4 and it’s wonders if the physical world and human anatomy split in two It also included profiles in science. Lots of fun and easy things to build and experiment on. Highly recommend!
