The new Dior nail glow product only peels if you follow the company’s directions by applying it directly to the nail. Simply applying a base coat prior to application negates this issue.

I shortened my nails too much recently, and it caused some separation. I used a glass file, and could not feel the damage that I was doing until after the fact, and it was too late. If I can fix this mess, I will never do that again. I am using the Jojoba oil as often as I can, and wearing gloves for everything except showering to try to keep everything dry while they grow out. I hope I’m doing it right. The worst part is not wearing polish (I’m addicted!). I wish I could at least wear some clear, but I don’t know if it is advisable or not.😢

I thought that the OPI Infinite Shine had some more glow. It's not my type of product. The (old version) of the Dior Nail Glow is my favorite. And it looks beautiful on you 're clients nails 😊

I’m new to your channel and have watched many of your videos. I’m very impressed and like them all. But I have to say that since I first started doing weekly manicures on my nails which was in high school and I’m now 57, I have never been able to go even a week without having so much extra dead tissue to cut off! I grow skin in the cuticle area like a fertilized dandelion! Through the years I have tried to stop cutting them but there just is too much skin when I push them back. I am going to try to create a new habit of pushing them back all the time, whenever I wash my hands or think about it like watching tv at night and see if that helps anything. But it will attach so hard and stretch a third of the way down my plate if I let it. I use jojoba with a little vitamin E in it on them all the time and just took the gel I had just started doing 3 years ago, in January. So I’ve kept cutting them back keeping them short. Just filing now and did switch to a wonderful glass file that I like a lot. I do have ridges in a few of my nails. I’m using a product called Flexinail conditioner on them and have been for a couple of months. Prior I used OPIs Repair mode. I’m really liking this Flexinail and just ordered another bottle. I would absolutely love for you to check it out and give me your opinion on just what ingredients are in it and what you think of the site. They also have a soy based non acetone remover and micropore nail polish which sounds interesting. I won’t buy it because I have a few hundred bottles of polish I love but the concept is interesting. It’s supposed to be permeable. So you can condition through the polish. Is this something you would do for me? To just check the site out and give your professional feedback? Thank you either way. Are there any glow polishes that do not contain Nitrocellulose? I've been using Pinkies Up by Dazzle Dry to achieve a similar look to Dior Nail Glow but it's not quite the same. Thank you for your content!

Is it normal to get horizontal insentions after removing cuticles/pushing back the nail fold? I only care for my toenails in spring/summer. I prefer to leave cuticles untouched rather than having multiple indentions like a tree’s growth rings. I tried being careful at it, though.

Having psoriasis my nails are paper thin and tear especially when wet or cooking/ washing etc. I had found a salon that puts a thin coat of acrylic every 2nd to 3rd visit. It helps a lot with pain at my fingertips and I can use my camera buttons with no issues. I had been getting gel, but am now allergic. So I just do regular polish now. I am not sure what I’ll do if I suddenly become allergic to the acrylic. Quality of life issue here, I use keyboard for work, cook, clean and do photography ..all would very hard without the acrylic enforcement. I keep them short. But without any treatment they would be torn below the edge and sore.

We don't just randomly get allergic to these ingredients. The allergy is due to overexposure, improper use. The technician has to know exactly how to avoid allergic reaction. Unless technique is corrected people overexpose themselves to more and more ingredients.

I will be honest. It’s the technique and skill what makes the machine safe or unsafe. I suggest implementing regular skin care and then you won’t have much to do. I don’t use the machine on myself. No need if you care for your skin.
