Benita, this is just what I needed to wake up to. I love how even though your apartment is minimalistic and white, it has a sense of coziness in it that is not often found. You're also very fortunate to have such beautiful light coming from the windows, light makes such a huge difference! We recently moved to an older house but the windows bring such warm light inside that it makes the world of a difference...

Light is essential here in Sweden. We now have a lot of it but during most of the year we have very little so I’m making the most of it!

There is a surrounding calmness when each item is purposely set. In Alaska, I work in a very busy Anchorage, but I take the bus and come home to a clean and simple space. Thank you for sharing your world! Beautiful!

I loved your video. However, it did make me sad, quite unexpectedly. It caught me off guard. Your black and white kitty looks just like my sweet Skipper. Skipper passed over The Rainbow Bridge just 2 1/2 weeks after this video was filmed. Your apartment is beautiful and so are your kitties. Your apartment is stunning. I love everything about it. It is a peaceful, tranquil oasis in the midst of a crazy world. You have influenced me so much that I've started decluttering, downsizing and totally redecorating my small New York City apartment. I've even started purchasing pieces that are similar to some of your decor. (I now have the wooden apple!) What has really stood out to me that I first noticed were your bare walls...no paintings hanging up. My apartment is full of wall hangings, paintings and decorative items which really look like clutter. I love your bare walls which open up the space. I hope to visit Stockholm one day as I've been all over Europe but never to Scandinavia.

I love how you seem to have exactly the things you need but it doesn’t look bare to non-minimalists. I started carefully pairing down a couple of years ago and aspire to live in a space similar to yours one day - simple and minimal but cozy. A lot of times I look at minimalists‘ appartments and they are so well put together and tidy, but for me it is always too bare. Yours is different 😍
