Welcome to my apartment. It is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom located just 10 minutes south of Sydney CBD.
The apartment has an open plan layout with a total internal area of 84m2 and a north-facing balcony. I live here with my girlfriend and two other roommates who occupies the second bedroom and bathroom.
Furniture and pieces are a combination of midcentury modern, contemporary, and Scandinavian. I combine both affordable pieces along with a few designer pieces which I got mostly secondhand.
The color palette is mostly neutral (black and a little white) with warm wood tones (mostly oak), and greeneries.
There are decor items that don't serve functional purposes, so to some, it might not qualify as minimalist. However, they help inspire me creatively and are visually pleasing, hence I have a few of them sprinkled throughout the space. They are meant to add personality and visual interest into the space.

I still find it crazy how you can get two other roommates to keep your place so tidy and clean and get the layout/design you want. I can only see just a partner who has same mindset. So hats off to you sir! Having extra roommates ruined my life lol

Haha I am fortunate that the roommates are people I know. It also helps that I practically 'run the place' (they moved in a year after I've been here) so they don't have to furnish and spend on anything other than their own room. My gf also help set up some ground rules (washing dish after every meal, no trash in common places, etc.). Of course, it is not as 'perfect' as in the video, but overall can't complain considering the cost savings and most days I'm the only one home :)

That was something that I noticed too. It was not too minimal. I enjoyed that he had everything he needed. Not only did he show us “what” he had, but we were told “why.” Again, thanks for a calm tour at just the right speed and volume. I loved the whole calm vibe which included him at the end of the day enveloped by a cozy blanket, chilling next to an amazing view. What a way to end the day!

When you live as neat as this, it becomes easy to see where everything belongs. There's a difference between an item having a random place in a drawer, and an item having a specific labeled place in a drawer. But you do need to live with people who have the same principles as yourself, when it comes to maintaining a home. You don't want to act like a dad or mom to your roommate, that's not fun for anyone.
