Aww you are worth our time! Couple of thoughts: 1. I dislike strong fragrances in products. Mild fragrances especially ones from essential oils are my favourite. Even fragrance free chalega but strong fragrances are a huge turn off. 2. Thank you for your honest reviews on bond repair treatment. I've watched the previous ones also. 3. Generally I feel KZbin is so much better as a medium to give reviews and information than quick Instagram reels

I think you should stop using it for now and use a hair oil in small quantity followed by a gentle shampoo and nice rich conditioner. If you have curly or wavy hair please use a styler to avoid dryness and to maintain hair health

So I've been using the Serum and mask from minimalistic roughly for a month. Honestly the serum is okay as a standalone treatment. It does prevent and repair damage with mask. Mask is Amazing though, you need very little and excellent slip. Curl definition and clumping afterwards is quite great and gives fullness to hair. I like it more than the Curlsmith range just for the ease and no complexity of instructions.

Hi Chehak! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your personal experience with both. I have a question though- do you feel the mask helps every time you use it? And how frequently have you been using it? Asking because if its working as a bond repair product, it would repair bonds in first few times itself and then it would stop showing effect (as a bond repair product). This is exactly how olaplex# 3 also behaves - doesn’t show any effect if hair is already healthy. So here I am wondering if its the bond repairing that works or amino acids working as protein treatment. So does it work every time?

@@desicurly These are such good questions you've asked. I remember going a little too much with my curlsmith bond repair and it stopped after 4th wash (mine is virgin hair and I am staying at home) - so not much damage except environmental. This makes sense now. I hope they reply now.

I have used OLAPLEX 3 and CURLSMITH bond repair. I would say if you have wonky curls, or curls have have lost their shape and definition, look dull, stringy, lifeless, no shine. Pls give CURLSMITH a try. Suggesting you after trying both of them for 1.5 years now. Curlsmith is comparitively cheaper and the quantity is more than olaplex. My curls feel alive whenevr i use it, rejuvenates my hair like anything.

I absolutely love the Maleic serum for my hair. In the past I have bleached my hair. 2 years back. And for my hair it really works. I keep it about 40 mins and it really makes my damaged dry hair look better. Also curl definition is better when I use this serum.

Hi, flyaways are taken care by styling products that are supposed to be left on hair. This is a preshampoo rinse off product made for damage repair. It has to be washed off plus flyaways arent damage. You can use hair mascara to settle halo frizz

Hi no absolutely not. firstly this is not a preshampoo oil that would feel or work or melt better by heating. Its a properly formulated hair product and heating will change its composition and might also spoil the product. Absolutely avoid. Secondly LOW POROSITY hair stands for healthy hair. The cuticles are so well aligned and smooth and intact that hair strand has no or lower number of holes on it thus the name low porosity. Its not a problem that needs to be fixed. Be happy you have healthy hair 😇

See ideally any kind of treatment should be used on clean hair especially bond repair treatment. But since this is an oil, we dont have any other option but to use on dirty hair including coats of leave-in and gel. I always use curly hair stylers too. Washing, drying, applying and then washing again doesn’t make any sense. That’s why I prefer such products in water based formulas that can be simply rinsed with water. If anyone has to try minimalist bond repair then ill suggest mask than this. I havent tried it but that one is more practical

Hi, I am not sure of this serum. It hasn’t worked for me that well. Coloured hair and really damaged hair has however seen better results with it. Wishcare bond repair, plum pre-shampoo bond restore has worked for me well. I use them after shampoo on wet hair for 30 mins

After using it for 4-5 washdays I am here to say. Its ok. I have bleached and coloured curly hair, It did help me with not hair not facing breakage but I agree with your other comment that possibly the mask is better option for trying ( it does have silicone, just an fyi if you stay away from it) and my results are probably doing better as the combo or only hte mask. I will need to try them separately once to verify. The serum does have a fragrance but also this synthetic cough syrup kind of smell which is partly medicinala nd partly fruity. ( if you only smell it , its reallly bad I almost threw up) . Secondly I had a pilling/ exfoliating kind of effect on my hands. I also think that because i did use it as a pre shampoo on unclean hair it also becae sticky due to the products in the hair. I will try cowashing or gentle shampoo first and then try this to verify this sticky claim. Over all non greasy, good slip def! i think the only reason I would buy it is possibly the price, but more reasons not to buy it.

I absolutely hated the smell🥲 and yes the residue on hair plus the oil is definitely not a pleasant experience. If it was in water-base form I would have 200% used it on clean hair like I do with all bond repair products labelled as pre-shampoo hehe😅 and probably this can also be used after shampoo and before conditioner since its so so so light and non-oily. The residue will be easilyyyy washed off with just a conditioner i am sure! Try it that way too♥️

If you have super damaged hair like very bleached or coloured then yes it can help. Ideally it should because thats what bond repair treatment do. Probably in my case I do not have very very damaged hair. I think its no harm trying considering it helps in otherways too if not bond repair.

Shampoo-conditioner-leave in conditioner or hair cream. Watch my other videos to see how to use stylers on curly hair. That’s all. Try doing it in evening or night and then sleep on dry hair. In morning make pony or braid by separating curls with hands. Dont comb else will make hair frizzy again.

The overnight repair cream is good. It makes hair very soft. I use it after washing and towel drying. And the quantity is good too for the price. Though it has silicone in it. I have very fizzy hair so I need products that have silicone as one of the ingredients.

Hi for scalp care I have started this scalp card series from today with two videos do check the same. Hair density - we cannot increase the number of hair follicles aka roots on our scalp like we cant make appear if they dont exist. so scalp serum be it any will only help in increasing the growing and resting phase of a hair strand and not magically make follicles appear on scalp. If you have excessive hairfall I would suggest getting medical help to find the root cause and deficiency and treating accordingly. If you have low density by nature, that cannot be increased. My experience with this serum is so so weird. I applied it from half length to ends of my hair. Then I put my hair in bun. It smells obnoxious please do not inhale. Within 5 mints I felt as if my scalp was pulsating, and as if my head was going to spin as if I have high BP. I washed it asap. That feeling in my head lingered for 3 hours after washing. Only apply this in a balcony well aired area and do not DO NOT keep in bun. And do not apply with bare hands for more than twice a week or if you have sensitive skin.

It has exfoliating ingredients and even though thats suitable for sensitive skin but this serum does sensitise skin if hands skin is sensitive and delicate. So sorry that this happened with you 😭

@@desicurly I myself am confused did the smell caused it or the product. As my hair were in a bun so any of the things could have caused it. But I am suspecting that the fragrance is causing it, because when I had coffee after 2 hours even the coffee smelled like chemicals. I have so long hair that I needed to use almost 6 full pumps to cover mid till ends. 😥 It's better for me to use olaplex. I only need to use it once in like 2-3 months. Hi, yes you can use dove range. It has nothing to do with hairfall or growth. For hair regrowth you might need minoxidil (prescription serum) if its alopecia. The growth we get online easily can help in making the existing baby hair longer but might not with regrowth. Best would be to see a dermatologist and the proceed♥️
