For using cloth to wrap presents, I highly recommend looking up wrapping with "furoshiki". It's a way of using a square cloth to wrap things for transportation, wrapping gifts or even homedecor, they've done this for centuries in Japan :D

Power watching all the videos as I spend my Christmas with you and yours! We reuse bags and boxes each year! Another option are using drawstring reusable produce bags! It can be used year over if within your household, but also helps to encourage sustainable ethical grocery shoppers for those you are using these as gift packages! It becomes a gift in itself!

Really enjoyed this video. Loved the dried oranges which I am going to try. Many years ago I did some salt dough figures, one of which was a fairly large Father Christmas. I used red acrylic paint in some of the dough to make the body part, pushed some uncoloured dough through a strainer to make "fur" to trim his robes, cut out a long beard, rolled a tiny little ball of dough for his nose & 2 black glass beads for his eyes. I then used brown paint in more dough to make a teddy bear, some green for a fir tree, etc, etc. It was great fun playing around with it and I'm sure you will think of all sorts of other embellishments to do. Mine comes out every year for pride of place on the mantlepiece. Hoping you have wonderful Christmas!

I've had an ME flare this month,so I've used gift bags (cotton) but I definitely want to do more of this they look so beautiful 😍 I love the salt dough cookie idea,made them years ago...could use air dry clay too.

Love this video, and that you are sharing eco friendly and healthy products and ideas. Those things are important to me too! I want to make some reusable cloth bags for wrapping gifts, like the one you had. I've been looking for Christmas or winter themed fabric at second hand stores (charity shops, I think you would say). The little salt dough cookies are very cute! You could probably write names on them too, for reusable gift tags! I saw a recipe for cinnamon cookies similar, and apparently they last for years and smell amazing. I want to try those! And I'm like you, love the brown paper packages, tied up with string🎵😊.

I’ve used recycled saris as gift wrap- it works great! Often, they’ll make them into little pouches, too. Your gifts look stunning and very beautiful.

I love love love these sustainable wrapping ideas. Wish I’d seen this sooner. Thank you for sharing though, great ideas. I managed to get recycled wrapping paper and I suck at wrapping I’m still trying to get rid of my excess cell tape but I used a lot less tape this year than I normally would. I’ll be glad when it’s all gone though 🙈😂

I've noticed lots more recyclable paper in shops this year and places selling paper tape! I love wrapping my presents nicely too so will be trying some of these ideas 🥰 I'm always given back my ribbons too which is great!
