hey, i dont know what you consider a lot of money however downtown (some areas) are some of the less expensive parts of la (generally the further east you get in LA the cheaper it gets, again general rule not saying its always the case). she looks like she lives not in the heart of downtown/perhaps the outskirts (potentially further east) as outside are not the high rises. most of my friends who live downtown pay about 1200 per bedroom. im sure her and her girlfriend split the rent as well. one bedrooms are steeper prices than two bedrooms, so i think that her and her girlfriend probably still spend ballpark this amount each (if not maybe a little less).
