So many great things in this video, but a hubby who cleans after you cook is a win.

Really enjoyed seeing more of what you do on a daily basis. Also made me think I should really invest some thought into a routine before my husband comes home from work. We’re both always so wound up at that time of the day so this could help. Thanks!

Your routine is lovely, mine is kind of similar just with a couple tornados (I'm mean toddlers 🤣) thrown in the mix. I prepare simple food at level Ninja because I'm simultaneously trying to keep my pants from getting pulled down by nosy boys trying to see what I'm doing. I usually do some sort of activity with the boys while dinner cooks, sometimes I read, but nosy boys try to steal my book. We also have a tech free policy for dinner, there's enough entertainment going on (face painting, finger painting, blowing bubbles in milk, using olives as hats for fingers....) My husband also does the dishes for me, such a blessing because I'm pretty much running on empty at that point. At 7:30 we attempt to get the boys to help put away their toys, usually they just pull them back out faster than we can put them away. Then it's bushing teeth, changing into PJ's, and a bedtime story. By 8:00 the boys are in bed and the hallelujah chorus sounds from heaven (ok, maybe not, but it should). Then the next half hour to hour my husband and I spend some time together, usually watching a movie, until he starts getting ready for work. After he leaves I round up all the laundry so it's ready to throw in the wash first thing in the morning. Sometimes I drink a mug of tumeric tea, then I read for a while and go to bed around 10/10:30.

No real set routine in my life with an ADHD husband who works retail (various shifts) so every day is an adventure, haha. I also work from home but the work flow can be very unsteady so very hard to have a routine in that regard as well. But my husband and I do try to have dinner together most nights, even if it means I have to bring him something and we eat in the break area. After work I try to tidy up the house, particularly the kitchen and bedroom area. I actually make our bed up at night before we go to sleep due to my husband's irregular work schedule (and the dog always messes it up anyway, lol). I'll typically do laundry, set out his work clothes, and try to get some journaling in so I don't forget important parts of the day. I also spend some time interacting online on Facebook, KZbin, and Goodreads. I try to do some reading before bed and we always have the TV on before sleep because my husband needs the sound of it to go to sleep and I need the sound of it to cover up some of his snoring. It usually turns off an hour after if we don't interact with it. Sometimes before bed when he is closing his store I really enjoying taking a long bubble bath where I go on social media or read during it. My husband is the cook, though sometimes I will make a quick meal if it's just me. Sometimes he is too busy at work to take an actual break for it.

Amazon Prime also has short reads for free. I also have a no phone policy at my dinner, lunch, breakfast table with my granddaughters and husband. I love my evenings reading a good book and drinking tea. I have to go to bed around 9pm and wake up at about 5am to get ready for work. I'm a very busy grandmother raising my 2 beautiful teenage granddaughters. I remember one of your videos where you read the bible I think in the am?

Good video! Lots of easy to adopt habits here too. As for the football, I think it’s healthy to doing something mindless at the end of the day. It helps your brain gear down and prepare to rest.

Honestly I don’t follow a recipe. I use olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and rosemary to taste and then lemon on the salmon. Then cook each one until it’s done. About 10-15 for the asparagus and salmon and 40 for the potatoes. Hope this helps!!

If you want up the nutrients in the potatos as well as the flavor use duck fat oil instead of olive oil.👍🏻
