@@thestorykeeper6818 unfortunately, in the metropolitan area where I live, they're becoming less and less common. A 3-BR home would be perfect size to me to raise a family of 4-5, with kids learning to share a room (a valuable skill for later). I grew up in a home of 1500 sq for 3 of us. In my new hometown, these sorts of homes are constantly being torn down to make way for McMansions of 6,000 sf. (It's unfortunately pricing out folks who make a middle class salary. No way could I ever afford something like that.) That's why I use the term "smaller." I hope that helps clarify.

You have a very lovely home! But, I would also enjoy seeing closets and storage areas. Where do you keep all your cold weather gear, off season clothing, sports equipment, camping gear, Christmas decorations, small kitchen appliances, serving dishes and platters for entertaining, photo albums and linens. While trying to be more minimalist myself, I want to see how others deal with the “stuff” they still need.

Yr voice is soothing! I'm starting my minimalist journey! I have severe depression anxiety and panic attacks from losing my first baby and few months I lost my father and I suffer from ptsd. I want to help those around me who are also struggling from our recent losses. However I want to also better myself by decluttering my home and making it a cozy home where I can truely feel myself.
