First, I must say how courageous it is to share your space! Your home inspires as well as calms and that is a winning combination! My kids have always loved black in their rooms. It is so moody - similar to them at times, and if they love it, I love it!! I use black a lot too - I am painting my craft area ceiling black as we speak! Thanks for the great and brave video!!

Beautiful home!!!!!!!!!! I'm a new subscriber, I love the cozy and holistic vibe of your channel. Puppy is very gorgeous too. I discovered you today, I watched one of your 2020 video's on the psychology of clutter. I grew up with my grandparents and single Mum aunties and uncles, who were fairly minimal which I am so grateful for and try to maintain that for my family. I love sparseness!!!!!!!!!! Which encourages me to declutter often and to be mindful of what I do bring into the home. I say to people I do a monthly declutter but really, on the daily I checkout the clutter situation as I have a big family. There is 16 of us in our immediate family, 1 Mum, 1 sister, 1 husband, 3 sons, 1 daughter 2 daughter in-laws, 1 son in-law, 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter oops 17 counting our kitten Harley Pickles Davidson.

Hi! 1st time I’m watching your videos. Your home is beautiful. Can you share where you got your dining table and chairs from? I love the simplicity of them. I want to get rid of mine because it’s glass top that slides out of the wood sides and wood legs and a pain to keep clean. We eat every meal at our table so I need something that’s easy to clean but still looks nice.

We have enough for a full dishwasher (so way more than a single plate or 2 per person). My daughter had a sleepover the other night and we had 7-8 people for dinner with no problem :)

Hi Mia, i recently got the carver sea salt digital photo frame based on this video! I recently got married & put some monetary gifts towards it. I was wondering if & how you back up your photos since this frame doesn't have internal storage. Any recommendations that you trust would be appreciated.

All of my photos are backed up on Google Photos BUT the Aura frame that I use also has unlimited cloud storage- so, theoretically I don't need to back it up...but I still like to have a backup :)

Love your home! It looks so cozy and peaceful! We ended up putting my 15 year old sons bedroom downstairs. My husband built the bedroom and door(he’s pretty handy but not his profession) and our son loves it! We live in a small 3 bedroom house 850 sq ft so our 16 year old has her own room and 7 year old son has his now(they all get along well but the 15 and 7 year old clearly have different interests being the age gap 😂) but we make it work now with my husband building that 4th bedroom! And he loves it down there! It’s his own little cave 🙏🏻and reminds me of your daughters room! I keep us as minimal as possible living in a small house, but I think I do great constantly decluttering and going through the kids belongings frequently!!

I'm so with you on the idea of "coffee tables" like I just don't understand them. It's a big clunky piece of furniture taking up a big amount of real estate in your living area, just begging for people to leave their clutter 🚫 We have a nice set of wood TV trays that hide behind the couch should anyone need a surface next to them while on the couch- then it goes away when they don't need it.
