Julie, did you replace your kitchen cabinets or did your husband simply sand and paint them? I really appreciate your time in answering my question. I enjoyed the video you shared here. Your kitchen is beautiful! 😊
@JulieBlanner3 жыл бұрын
Hi! In our St. Louis home, we replaced the cabinets, but I have tutorials on how to paint furniture/cabinets (without sanding) should you need them! We painted the kitchen cabinets at the lake house. Thank you SO much!

Looks good! The thing I do not get though is how do you tell what spices are in which jar without marking them? There are so many and they do not differ that much in colour...

your kitchen is beautiful!! where do you store food that is extra or too much and would overflow a container?
@JulieBlanner4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Heather! We store refrigerated leftovers in the same glass/plastic + bamboo containers. I make things like baked chicken and caramelized onions to enjoy throughout the week or if I have extra fresh pasta, I'll freeze it.

I think i got what you meant. It was the packaged food where not all successfully fit in the container 😅 For me, i have dedicated basket that i’ll store all the excess food that are still in its packaging. Clip it using ikea clip. Whenever the container is almost empty, i’ll peak into that basket first bfore deciding to buy more.

Hi! I have been wondering for the last two years where your soap dispenser is from!? !? I like that it doesn’t have a metal color it blends in and fades nicely rather than being more of a statement, but i can tell the plastic pump doesn’t look cheap. I was hoping it would be linked but I don’t see it! Also is the bamboo tray linked the one you use for your bar/liquor it looked brass in the video is there a link for that?
@JulieBlanner4 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you asked! I LOVE this hand soap amzn.to/2RTIe3y and have it out sometimes, but when I use dish soap that doubles as hand soap use this dispenser amzn.to/37XEjIF I love the clean look.

Beautiful kitchen but this is not minimal....you have a ton of stuff! An entire collection on cast iron and bakeware!
@JulieBlanner4 жыл бұрын
I go into that - it's my studio and kitchen
@almamater4893 жыл бұрын
If all of that stuff is what she needs and uses, then it's minimalist

Beautiful kitchen. But a 700-dollar knife block? You're outta your mind.
@JulieBlanner4 жыл бұрын
Lori C the expense is in the knives themselves. You can find one less expensive, and a block alone is significantly less expensive.

Good knives will last a lifetime and probably someone else’s lifetime too :-)
