I'm in that transitioning phase right now. Leaving everything behind, letting go of things I don't need anymore... feels amazing! Off to new and unknown paths! 🙏🏻❤️

I've been a minimalist for about 4 years now and I love it. It helps me sorting my inner chaos a lot and gives me the feeling of freedom. It is such a relieving feeling to know that I'm not attached to that many things and all the other useless stuff in my life.

It's inspirational to hear you articulate so precisely the philosophical principles behind your lifestyle. And even though that lifestyle is not one that I choose, elements of it are. It is reaffirming to hear another person express their thoughts and reasons for living the way they do. ¡Dale que no aflojes chica!

I love your videos Conni! It is amazing to see them becoming more and more enjoyable and I like to hear you in english language as much as in german, I really don't care :) Your gestures are super authentic and I love them! The topic is super interesting for me as I've been trying for months to declutter my apartement and become better and better. As you said it is way easier to work and be creative in a tidy environment. Another challenge for me at the moment is to declutter my brain. Sometimes it is just overloaded because I tend to overthink things and imagine every possible outcome of a situation. That would be an amazing video about how to focus and lock unnecessary thoughts out of your brain. Thanks for being so inspiring!

OMG I soo feel you when you are talking about feeling overwhelmed and being highly sensitive! I am just the same, and minimalism is a life saver for me! Of course, all other reasons apply in my case too. But that really hit a chord. Thank you for making this video, we, people, need to be reminded things to be able to stay on track! Hugs from Spain!

In the last year and a half I've been traveling, so I experienced real minimalism (all my stuff can stay in a backpack and a bag). I like it a lot and I've always been attracted to it, since I read "The 100 Thing Challenge" by Dave Bruno (plus endless articles and blog posts) years ago. It seems to me like the supreme form of freedom. But still I struggle with one thing: I am an artist, I'm into painting, metalsmithing, paper works... And these activities require tools and supplies. So in the last year and a half my artistic activity has been very limited and I miss my creativity. I don't have the money right now to pay for a co-working laboratory (and even if I had, I would have no idea where to put my creations...). I think in this case maybe it would be ideal to establish a homebase in which to have a fully-equipped laboratory. I'm staying in Barcelona for the immediate future, so I'm trying to have at least a good drawing spot, but still I don't want to loose my flexibility! It's tricky! :)

yes I also struggle with my expanding photo and video gear.. I am willing to make compromises, but sometimes I also wish I had my own studio or space to create and store my equipment :)

definitely love the way you think and philosophy of life! Just watched the documentary Minimalism with my boyfriend and loved it! I feel like slowly but surely, people are discovering the benefits of not attaching to things and what does really matters! I just discovered your channel and I am so glad I did!

I love the way you explain the minimalist mindset, like being deliberate with our choices and deciding whether something adds value to our lives or not. It's so amazing that once we declutter our lives physically we make room for what's most important: our relationships, health, and spirituality. Thanks for sharing! :)

When I started with minimalism, I didn't even know that word. It was when I had to live in a 10m² room for about 10 months. I had to share the bathroom and the kitchen with more than 20 other people, so I had all the things I owned together in that little room. During the time I had to live there I learned a lot about myself and my real demands. I learned that real friends and a good relationship are more important than anything material. From there on I started to reduce my property and I'm so happy with that. :D This year I wanna start to travel for a longer time, maybe one or two months and after finishing my studies I wanna do a very big journey with my boyfriend. :)

Sooo wahr! Triff(s)t mich ins Herz.

I also feel like too much stuff blocks my thinking and gets me nervous. This is why I do not get the minimalist fashion that is all about accumulating all in black, gray and white (furniture and clothes) but own like 200 pieces of shirts and stuff... for me it is not about the design but about the weight all this stuff means on one`s shoulders when it comes to moving, cleaning, travelling... CONNI YOU ROCK! PEACE OUT!

Really identify with these ideas! Great stuff! Thanks!

Hey Conni! Du sagst in dem Video "maybe it's a little bit of OCD..." Also HSP z.B. ....... :)
@ConniBiesalski7 жыл бұрын

I saw some more of your video and I see that you wear different things so I wonder if you have so things to wear because if you have then it is not minimal at all.
