I was listening to you, and you dont even NEED your celphone. I am Yoga teacher, you dont really need a mat, you can use a piece of fabric, the earth, or if you need softer, anything softer you can by anywhere, much cheaper even. I was in Rome and I didnt have any clothes, many years ago, I chek in a hotel, and I had only the close I was wearing and my purse Those few days were one of the best in my all life. So liberating and free.

I have lost quite some people in my life and it makes me realize that the more you 'lose', the more you realize that things can't always be in your control, so the best way to deal with it myself, is to let go of it. Dwelling in the past is one of the worst things that keeps dragging you down.

I think we all have been involved in a lost luggage problem I know I have but yours would be more intense. More business travelers have carried on luggage. The more you travel the more it happens. I like buses and trains you meet the most interesting people between trying to read and they meet a character like me. I still have a temper but often my response is very mild. I too have met people in situations that were not planned. You tell wonderful stories, I do like almost every one of your stories. A character like me but probably many times beyond my level. Thanks again for wonderful and challenging coaching. When I was at the VA Hospital, having and recovering from surgeries the vets gathered around to hear me while getting free donuts that I didn't eat but I did enjoy the free unlimited coffee provided by a chorus of people that support surviving war veterans. When they all looked at me after my first sip of coffee, then I would begin my unplanned prose to the group. On Wednesday they had a compliant rally to all staff and supervisors, the first meeting was very small, and not many vets hadn't shown up until after my first meeting. After that meetings got larger and larger, the staff resented the attacks after a few and they saw the administrator pull me aside where I would dish out complaints I gather from the troops. Needless to say, the group was smaller in my absence. They knew when I was there b/c you could hear me all the way down the halls. That triggered the masses back to the meeting, then the other vets started to speak out. This occurred for thirteen months I was there at the facility. Thanks for your attention.

More great advice! I watched a DW documentary of a family who're living in a landfill in South America eking out an existence from scavenging plastic beverage bottles to recycle. This particular family, mentioned, are the 3rd generation of their family to live like this. They don't know any different. They have nothing and scant to eat. So when you mentioned that there are people with less, I thought of that multi-generational landfill dwelling family. It made me shiver! We are so fortunate to have what we do, on so many levels! We have access to so much. Living a "Minimalist Lifestyle" and consuming less shouldn't be that difficult. Thank you, Conni

It has been a long time since I watched one of your videos. What I noticed is that you seem so much calmer. Therefore, watching you tonight gave me such a peaceful energy. It actually made me feel a little bit emotional. But then in a positive way. Dankeschön dafür! Schön das es Dich gibt.

I am actively pursuing a more minimalistic lifestyle. I do still have one powerful memory that I think I will spend some time making peace with now. When I was in college I received a sterling silver Aztec sundial brooch that belonged to my grandmother. When I changed out for dance class it was fastened to my sweater. A girl in the bathroom commented on it. When I was is class we all put our things in the corner while we had our lessons. Another girl who was in the locker room but not in my class was sitting by our things watching us. I felt her watching me. When I got home that night I realized the pin was no longer on my sweater. I looked everywhere at school and put up signs because it was very sentimental. I still think about the girl who stole it and wonder if she thinks of me every time she wears it. I have even looked on eBay several times hoping it might be up for sale. I’m sure I’m not alone in this type of story. I think after listening to you I will have to really let it go.... it’s been 20 years and I still think of it from time to time.

(My first comment on KZbin ever!). Let's start with how good the editing was! Really like it. I broke my much used iPhone recently in a little 'accident' of not being present. Interestingly enough, I got over it really fast. Earlier in the year, I lost broke my first iPhone too, and that was a bit harder to get over. But now that it is not the first time, it is so much easier to not react to it. I did a 10 day vipassana course a few years ago and it taught me the lessons in impermanence and non-attachment. Big love to you for putting out this video

Hey Conni, you video is so on point today. I’m losing control over my time, my budgeting and some bureaucratic issues. It’s so frustrating, I just feel myself falling into depression and victim mentality. This is a good reminder to let go. And to keep doing my baby steps forward. Accepting to whatever comes... but moving forward anyway

Great video🙏Thanks so much for sharing...it was uplifting to me...a kind reminder 😇 Yes, I always lost things during my life, first family, stuff, friends, lovers, homes ...I really made peace with that...think , deep inside I always knew that something more important wanted to come into my life...soulpath maybe?...Everything is perfect unless we judge it in a way....and now it seems like the leading edge...once again loosing „my self“....and now? But being uplifter and uplifted as you all are for several years, can say centuries....I now am asked to more than ever do the uplifting things I shared with others just for a while for me....let go...accept...even to accept that there already moments a part of me cannot accept...soon after that catching the thought that I always have a choice....allow the unknown new me...the unknown new life....knowing that there is this higher self that always is guiding me....letting this sensitive voice coming through and allowing space and stillness to really be aware of it, hear is....A perfect time for doing this in the last weeks of the old year.....we made it all through this year and I wish you all a perfect „letting go of the old“ to have space for something amazing new in 2019....allow.....all is well in all of creation🤪🙋‍♀️👍😇💫💫💫Joy

This is amazing. I admire your lifestyle and your courage to pull it off. Although not having an apartment and being constantly traveling would go too far for my needs, I do try to follow the concept of minimalism in parts. I think that one big advantage of not owning a lot is that you have less physical things to be worried about.

On my way back from Bali my backpack AND Surfboard got lost. I swore for a second because I knew of the 1 hour trainride at 8 am at around 3 °C without a jacket. But the next second I did a little happy dance at the prospect of not having to do the trainride with a surfboard during rush hour and getting my bags deliviered to my doorstep 😄 I am not so good at minimalism yet but at least the positive use of the stimulus-response-gap works out most times :-)

"Everything is perfect the way it happens...." "Life isn't happening to him, it's happening for him...."
@ConniBiesalski
@ConniBiesalski 5 жыл бұрын
Die Sätze gelten für alles und jedes Schicksal, besonders wenn es harte Umstände sind. Das ist nicht verletzend, sondern ein Aufruf zur Heilung unsere Seele.
