Jenny, I would love to see a video where you talk about how to entertain/throw a great party. I'm curious to see how you modify your space for this and maybe some vegan small bites. I know on the podcast you've talked a good bit about what it's like to be in a luxurious social space so I would like to hear your tips for hygge hosting.

Maybe it's because I'm an American, but I find it hilarious how Jenny hates the separate shower and bath. Most people here would kill for that. 😅 I absolutely love this apartment though! It's so beautiful!!

RIGHT?! I've LONGED for a bathtub for 7.5 years because in Paris, evvvvverything's tiny. (Unless you earn beaucoup bucks, obvs.) Having a bathtub for hygge moments and a shower for the quick day to day? The DREAM.

Yes! Here is Australia, it is a given that one bathroom in a house has both a shower and a bath. And not a shower over a bath… no!
@maroulio20675 жыл бұрын
That is a huge apartment and you both have it so wonderful. Love it. About the bathroom: ours is tiny (the entire house is) so when we bought this house we totally stripped out the bathroom and where the tub was we now have a double-size walk-in shower, w. an overhead spray and also an adjustable hand-held one. We have glass shelves, a small free-standing cabinet, and a Coco bidet on the toilet. Neither of us wanted a tub so this worked out great.
@mz84225 жыл бұрын
My fiance and I live in a two bedroom unit in regional Australia. It's the most homey home we have lived in. We are more maximalist than minimalist, we love lots of art and trinkets and colours! It's a super functional space with lots of storage and a single lockup garage (what an adult heaven!)
@aplusjba5 жыл бұрын
Congrats on the new spacious apartment, Since you are on opposite ends of the house in your offices, it is nice to bump into each other in the kitch. And a gas stove and elctric oven is a chef's pick for sure. We have just ditched the tub in our master bathroom for a larger shower and more storage. Luckily, we have a second bathroom with a tub, albeit it is rarely used. I am such a fickle person, when it comes to home decor, that I end up with a hodgepodge of decors, I love wood and unique handcrafted items, and a simple cozy feel to my home. I'm changing my wall paint to a white throughout my home. Hope it does not look too sterile. I like a bit of a wabi sabi feel . Always, perfecting by home. But yes, I love it.

We just moved to Montreal! Our place is a small studio but we've had so much fun slowly adding pieces to the space. You are so right about being choosy with your pieces. We only just ordered something to sit on this morning and we've been here a month! We bought plants before we bought chairs lol. We want a great selfie mirror but haven't found the right one yet! We looooved your first mirror with the thin gold frame

What a lovely, airy apartment! I just had an idea about your bathroom. If you're really not in need of the bathtub, why don't you put a piece of white, sturdy plywood on top of it creating a space that could house a set of shelves or cupboard. Instant extra space! Just an idea. I live in a house in Adelaide and do feel at home here but we would like more land. We're currently in a fairly urban area and would prefer something more rural. I suspect we'll move in a couple of years. 😍

Lol. My husband and I are the same. We bought our new house because of the layout. He can be in the family room watching hockey and news and I can be in the living room watching my scandi noir mystery and espionage movies. The clincher is the pocket doors between us. Although I do still need to text him to turn down his tv. 😏
