This was a normal amount of makeup 20 years ago. Everyone had one, maybe two of the essentials and everything fit in a little pouch that came with you everywhere. Sad that it’s now considered normal to have every new thing that’s hit the market.

I say stick with what you love, Nars. You’re going to just make yourself crazy and waste money trying to find something you like as much and just be disappointed.

Exactly. It took me years to understand this. I bought so many cheap concealers because I didn't want to buy the expensive one. In the end I spent a lot more on the concealers I didn't like than the expensive one that I actually liked.

I haven’t tried anything better than Nars Radiant Creamy in years. I always go back to it. Tower 28 comes CLOSE. BUT the finish is totally different. It’s worth it IMO to have the Tower 28 because it’s a huge tube. And I use it as foundation sometimes. Maybelline Age Rewind is decent too. But lighter coverage.

Glossier has now a dark brown colour in their boy brow and I think that will be a great match now!

There is a little stopper on the Nars concealer that stops a lot of product from coming out. When you run out you can use pliers to pull out the little rubber stopper and you will have so much more product to use.

You can take the rare/hourglass back and put the money towards the one you really like. 😊 May I suggest the essence highlighter and loreal le liner. Excellent and more affordable.

If you don't like the Hourglass highlighter shade, exchange it for a different shade like euphoric! Something more champagne! These highlighters are the bestttt

I agree about the CT powder. Also have dry skin and used LM powder for ages. CT works a lot better for my skin type. I still like keeping my LM powder for when I’m traveling to very humid areas.

I love the elf wow brow for all the reasons you like the boy brow and it’s supposed to be a dupe and is really affordable. If you like the effect then do try the Lash Paradise from L’Oreal as the effect is the same but doesn’t flake or smudge on me, which the BTS does.

The ELF Brow Wow is AMAZING. It’s not a dupe for Boy Brow. It’s def less goopy and less pigmented. And I actually prefer that. I get complimented so much when I wear it.

I’ve heard the neutrogena healthy skin radiant cream concealer is a dupe for nars rcc. Usually goes for $15 at Target in the U.S.

The L'Oréal Lash Paradise Mascara has been my firm favourite for years. No smudging, no flaking and the same effect as the TooFaced BTS! 😊

You should try the Huda Beauty Fauxfilter luminous matte concealer. It’s full coverage and it doesn’t crease under my eyes and works well with the Charlotte Tilbury powder

I had the same issue with boy brow… so I kept the spoolie and now I use that spoolie with the better matching elf wow brow the elf spoolie is so much bigger but the color is better

i know you might not see this but the elf wow brow gel is almost the same as the glossier boy brow and has shades that might work better! and if not, its $5 so it wont be a huge loss if it doesnt work out! i personally like it better 😁

If you want an affordable concealer that works better than the expensive still try sheglam, I’ve tried over 40 concealers including Dior, Chanel and Lancôme, nothing compares

If you like the tower 28 gloss and want to try something else when you finish it, similar, cheaper and in my opinion better is the lip oils from color pop, not oily or sticky glossy at all very comfortable to wear all day

I have never used a concealer. Or a "setting powder". Just some tinted mineral sunscreen and loose mineral powder. And well researched skincare (PM: cleanser, moisturizer with niacinamide), retinoid (Adapaline), AM: vitamin C followed by HA, mineral sunscreen). I know, this is a makeup video.😉 Do you have a recent skincare video? 💖

Just got to the lip section. 💋 As I have aged I have had to find a unique no feathering solution, and I found it! I use a lip stain covered by a clear gloss. Specifically I love felt tip style stains, like Stella, and my best gloss ever, which has truly healed my previously always chapped lips, is Neutrogena Hydroboost lip gloss in a very pale fleshy color. My lips have never been this good.
