I wish this wasn't true, but these osteotomy surgeries ruin people's health and that of all the other people who have them done. The bone where they sawed afterwards doesn't stick properly anymore, it gets weak and it will slide little by little and sink inwards with time. I believe that a bone scar is left or for some other reason I don't know. Maybe it is left with little room to regenerate and becomes weak or another reason. It is not the same as a normal fracture where afterwards the bone becomes normal again. When you sawed it, or break it with a chisel, in this case it is different. The bone is left with a problem afterwards. Then the person gets all twisted because of this, as the bone sinks, it ends up twisting or sinks all the other bones of the body. If they do it in the lower limbs. But everywhere, it ends up disturbing people. Besides that, the nerves around where they do this also sink and leave their original place, and then the person starts to feel everything altered and only starts to feel bad things afterwards. Both in the external environment and in the body itself because of this. This surgery is a mistake in medicine, just as there are mistakes in any other profession. I don't know how it hasn't been forbidden until today, with so many people getting bad afterwards, I'm pretty sure all of them. It doesn't matter if it is done on the nose, leg, foot, heel, people end up getting bad the same way. I hope this comment helps. Take great care, health is very precious. After we lose it, our life becomes very difficult, and so does the life of the people around us, who end up being affected as well. A hug

What facts do you have for your statement? All you state is that “things get bad”. That is very vague and not helpful.
@tiagot65162 жыл бұрын
Hi Oagaitan, how are you? They did this surgery on my feet. On the heel, more precisely an osteotomy. You start to walk badly, all crooked, the other bones in your body start to twist o entortar or deform too, because the foot is like this and the nerves leave the original place of the bone, of the skin, because of this surgery, they go inside, like the osteotomy they do. And you start to feel only bad things and changes in your whole body because the nerves sink and leave their original place. You don't feel things the way they are anymore, everything becomes difficult because of that. Instead of feeling good, pleasant things, you just feel everything bad and altered, both the external environment and your own body. Osteoectomy surgeries are not worth it at all, people get much worse. Always run away from these surgeries. People always get worse afterwards.

@@tiagot6516 Hi Tiago, I appreciate the response and sorry to hear about your experience. Would the feet be a more complicated area for these types of surgeries? Also, I’ve known people with knee and hip replacements that have faired well after their surgeries. Do you know of anyone else or any sources that highly suggest not to get osteotomy?
@tiagot65162 жыл бұрын
Hi Oagaitan, how are you? I've also seen people who used hip and knee prosthesis and they didn't seem to be that bad. But when you have an osteotomy in your body and you don't use a prosthesis, you always look bad afterwards, for the reason I mentioned above. A hug. But there are people who put on prosthetics and they get bad health too.

@@tiagot6516 I've seen comments from some people who recovered just fine. I've seen an interview with a physiotherapist who had patients who recovered just fine. I don't say that it isn't a high-risk procedure which may often cause even more problems, especially if recommended in an inappropriate case and that we shouldn't think twice before deciding to perform it. However, claiming that it always goes bad and is always inappropriate seems an exaggeration. Please be so kind to provide some reliable sources for what you claim, apart from your own experience - it would be interesting to read.
