Fun fact. There is a Salvation army social service office in every major city, especially many in LA. A quick zip code search. They can guide you exactly where to go, who needs help, and you can even volunteer to ring the bell somewhere which All the money goes to fun summer camp music programs and after school programs for kids all year long

I think people's generosity at this time of year is wonderful. I donate each month but give extra at christmas to try and help vulnerable people. Life unfortunately is unpredictable and would like to think if i needed help someone would show me the same kindness.
