Alexis Lott I pineapple mine without ties or sometimes with (oiled up rubber bands to stretch) and wrap a silk scarf. I find that when I use a bonnet my hair shrinks from the steam lol

You can try banding your twistout to preserve the style. When I do it, my style keeps for about 5 days with lightly misting every other day for moisture

I normally don't write comments but watching your videos I had to. I went through the same thing, but I got mines done by a professional at a hair salon and 2019 my hair wasn't the same. I had to start all over as well and I'm about to cut the rest of it out this week... Just like you, I hate when my hair is short, but taking care of our hair the way we do, it would be back the way it was and better than ever in mo time. If cutting your hair is going to get it back healthy you gotta do what you have to do.

taasshhlove I’m experiencing the same thing. When my hair was short my curls were really defined. But now that it is down my back, I am having a hard time defining it. I am now experiencing with products. No success as of yet. I’ve also trimmed my hair multiple times thinking it was my ends, but that wasn’t the issue.

nandaN yeah I don’t know what it is I’ve just been sticking to wash n gos because I can’t spend all that time for a hair fail because of frizz. I’m hoping when I try it with a gel it works.

BoldEssence it’s crazy because my curls clump and shrink up no problem but separating my twist outs is like a frizzy mess. It’s moistures but not a good hold. I’m planning to try a gel and hope that works. But wash n gos are my thing now.

Looks so good and I love your mom. Have you tried shea moisture raw shea butter extra-moisture detangler??? I bought it out of desperation because the didnt have the one you’re using. It has changed my life. I no longer need the Jane carter nourish and shine. However if you use too much it can be sticky when your style is dry. Try it out and let us know what you think.
