Ok this is so legit and deserves full seasons. Im a young millenial and really miss the TV era of tons of bingeable sitcoms, and this has that vibe. But also unique from older shows in this particular style because it's showing the fresh hell that is modern minimum wage jobs.

as someone who works at the most POPULAR ice cream place in town this is TOO accurate i am only 17 YEARS OLD. and i am a manager where i work. im in charge of a bunch of college kids, and they have to count on me when we close at 11 in the night💀💀. we usually don’t get out until 12 am most nights in the summer, and i work literally everyday bc even tho everyone ASKS for more hours, THEY ALWAYS TAKE THE HOURS THEY ASKED FOR OFF. i actually can’t take it anymore. and then customers complain to me when i tell them an ice cream cake is gonna take a few hours to freeze up. and they’re like “i don’t have a few hours, i need it now” WHY DIDNT YOU COME 5 HOURS AGO YOU KNOW ICE CREAM NEEDS TO FREEZE, ESPECIALLY AN ICE CREAM CAKE. literally on my last straw.
@llmtxll3654Ай бұрын
hey bud, hang in there. i'd probably kms if i was in your position. i used to work at a movie theater for 2 years (being a supervisor was lowkey super horrible so i denied their offer to be a supervisor, can't imagine being an actual manager) and my last straw was the same exact thing you went through with everyone asking for hours they asked for off LMFAOOOO (it was summer so understandably they wanted more hours but like???). it was a scheduling nightmare for my managers. the new hires that came in before i quit my job were also terrible at following up with shift exchanges and just made things super complicated for no reason.
@chloe-222Ай бұрын
@@llmtxll3654 the only reason i’m staying is bc it pays so well. i make $17 an hr and have been working for abt a year and a half. however, they need to put more safety regulations into place bc it’s basically all teenage girls (including me) that work there and it gets dangerous at night bc we’re a singular building on a street. i’ve asked to put more ppl on shifts, and hire some men. we had 2 grown guys that were college students and were great to work with but they quit bc school got too hectic for them. and it rly sucks bc they hire anyone. like this one girl doesn’t know how to do ANYTHING and holds up the entire line

@KingbimmyАй бұрын
I hope you stick it out long enough to have something that big on your resume, but definitely don’t torture yourself. That’s so much to deal with at 17, and I can’t even imagine myself in that spot. You have more stamina and patience than I ever could. Just know that customers ARE NOT always right, and whenever people screw you over and you remain calm, good karma will come around. You’re really young, and have a whole future ahead of you. I hope it gets way better. ❤

the vibes are immaculate and the chemistry is top tier the ONLY thing I'd recommend is adding official subtitles to youtube's closed captions, if possible? Lo and behold the most relatable things I’ve seen all day. The customer completely unaware (or just not caring) about closing times infuriated me. When working my first job had a family of ten come in two minutes before closing, of course they dinned in and stayed for an hour while the whole night shift watched them. I laughed inside when they tried to order more after the kitchen was already closed down. Also the scheduling nightmare is 100% real. No one needs a day off for months and then suddenly you need a random day off in the middle of the week and no one is free 💀. (Seriously just happened to me, I ask for one day and three other people need that exact same day off) I would watch more of this if it became a series, hands down the best thing I’ve watched in a while.
