Four exciting flights that morning, what a super little model it is considering it's only a small 1s battery running a 30mm fan! Cheers 👍

You are really enjoying the model! I must admit that material has benefits over balsa. They just can't break can they! Thank you for sharing!

A fun machine Andrew yes, the thin foam is pretty hardy 👍

Despite its small size, it flies remarkably well. This is the first time I’ve seen such a small EDF jet. It’s cool! 🛩✨

It's a very well-sorted little jet isn't it I'm very happy with it 🙂

I'd like to see you fly that at Winnards Perch? 😉 (Indoor site!)

Possibly Bob, it seems slowable out of doors but whether she'll slow down in still air is a good question 🤔👍

How many minutes do you get on a 260mah 1s?
@CliffHarveyRCPlanes9 ай бұрын
Flat out I get two minutes, I keep a few in my pocket and they're pretty fast to charge, to be honest flat out is the way to go ... who ever saw a slow jet!, cheers

Great video. I clicked on the product link, but it appears to be in dollars. Is there a UK site? Cheers
@CliffHarveyRCPlanes9 ай бұрын
Hi Kerry, I don't think any UK stockists at the moment have this kit however if you Google for the aeroplane you'll find you can get it on as well just make sure that what you're buying includes the equipment. It only shows in dollars you'd have to convert it on Google 👍

Hey, quick question, how long is the flight time? I'm thinking to get a kit from minimumrc and I'm a complete beginner. I love your content!
@CliffHarveyRCPlanes8 ай бұрын
Flight time is 2 1/2 minutes, but I wouldn't recommend it as a first rc aeroplane, cheers

@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes Thanks! what kit would you suggest I get? i heard that edfs are less efficient than propellers?
@CliffHarveyRCPlanes8 ай бұрын
@@AVFL173 Hi again, I had a feeling you'd asked me that 🤔 yes edf's are less efficient, I can get almost double the flight time using the same battery on a model with a propeller. If you want to build a MinimumRC model I would go for one which is high Wing, the Cessna 152 would fit the bill, they also make balsa wood kits but they aren't as tough. The Butterfly V1 is another possibility, certainly a nice slow flyer but all of these models require a certain dexterity both in building and flying. If you can join a club you'll stand the best chance of learning, and is the recommended route they'll also probably have trainers you can practice on without any initial expense 👍
@AVFL1738 ай бұрын
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes Thanks! currently the butterfly V1 is out of stock unfortunately, so I'll probably get a cessna 152 or I'll just get the electronics and make an airframe around it, do you have any recommendations for 4CH aircraft? thanks for replying! I hope this doesnt take too much of your time
