It all depends on the condition, clarity and special formation. Value is all over the place.

I really enjoy your videos and content, I’m heading down to the area Friday for some fun crystal digging. I would really appreciate it if you could please share with me your top three crystal mines I could visit and look for crystals. I truly would welcome your input. David from Indiana

It varies so much, but I’d say Ron Coleman, Wegner and twin creek. Probably fisher mountain too.

I lived up highway 298 about 20 years ago. My ex husband is from the area and we would go about 4 or 5 miles between where we lived on Grandma Lane and Lake Quachita and there was an old abandoned crystal mine. We found so many crystals and would bring home the dirt and dig through it for days. Then after we cleaned off the dirt and "paper " he would soak them in acid or something like that. We split up and when I came back to get my stuff he had taken them and I didn't get to keep any. But my daughter still lives in the Little Rock area and I still have family in Conway so I will most definitely be visiting you when this stupid pandemic is over and I can come back down there. I am in Illinois and have told people about digging for crystals and now I can show them how!

Great video, Dominik! I haven't been rockhounding in several months due to an arm injury then surgery (my bicep dislocated from my elbow all rolled up to my shoulder), but I have been thinking of heading down to the Mt. Ida area possibly this weekend or next. Not sure if my arm can take the shock of hammering just yet though, so we'll see. I may have to look into this location, so thanks for getting word out about it, and enjoy your day today!!

Hey Dominick! Enjoyed this immensely. Always wondered how a crystal appears right out of the mine. How much breakage occurs from the tools you search with?
@canadiangemstones763611 ай бұрын
About 96% of the crystals are smashed into dust. With enough time and practice, you can get it to 100%!

How much does it cost to mine there? A friend and myself are looking to find a good state to go mining in for crystals and gems. i live in California and she’s in New Mexico, but were willing to travel, any suggestions would be amazing. Thank You!!! Love your videos!!
@CrystalsofArkansas Жыл бұрын
Plenty of mines in Arkansas to dig for a small fee. Nevada, North Carolina and upstate New York also have an abundance of public mines. Both California and New Mexico have great mining locations as well. Hallelujah junction, palo mine etc

@@CrystalsofArkansas I came back to tell you how much fun we had! We went to Jim Coleman Miller Mountain. Wegner was closed. However, Jim let's kids 12 and under in for free, and adults just $10! Definitely got our money's worth and more! We got some really great stuff! It was a long drive from Los Angeles, but I'm already planning a return to try the other spots :) 😃
