Mining Patagonia - Santa Cruz County, AZ [FULL VIDEO]

As a descendant of an Appalachia mining family, I have seen the brutal effects mining has on the environment and the community. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Patagonia in all of its beauty. I sincerely hope you win this battle against mining in Patagonia. My great-grandfather, a miner and union activist of 44 years, would surely feel the same.

Fantastic video. I'm an 18-yr resident of neighboring Cochise County and am horrified this mine is even being considered, along with the Rosemont Mine in the Santa Ritas. Indeed, changing the mining laws is crucial. I found this video on a link from Occupy Tucson's Facebook page!!

This is terrible. I have always loved the Patagonia area. That part of AZ is one of the most beautiful and unique parts in all of North America! I have never seen any place quite like it. Patagonians, fight this! File lawsuits! Tie them up in the courts! Don't let them get away with this! Please don't let them destroy beautiful Patagonia and surrounding areas!

For the greed of some rich people they destroy a whole area of wonderful nature and the lives of the happy people living there in Patagonia, Arizona. We shouldn't let this happen.
