I do kind of wish that you could do some kind of pre-run selections that would exclude certain artifacts to make it more likely that the ones you want for that particular run would show up in supply drops... that or having the option to re-roll the supply drop, even if only once per drop.

@@TomVsEverything I would be interested to see what is better: the coilgun, lmg turrets, and firefly drones with mining or the lmg turrets, krakatoa sentinel fire turrets, and the coilgun? I remember doing a run where I managed to get plasma, mining, and the unbalanced fire rate upgrade on the turrets, as well as the mining upgrade on the krakatoa turrets with some extra beams. Those two absolutely deleted terrain whenever I stopped to mine anything out. You just have to remember to stop using the directional keys for a moment to let the turrets drop. I feel like both those turrets with mining and the coilgun may be a better combo than using the drones, but I could be wrong.

@danielgulbransen8476 Coil Gun with both turrets would be insane mining. Not sure if it's possible though. Some weapons are locked on certain classes.

I did the platform with plasma and focused reload speed and fire rate. I have two gold scanners and the fire rate artifact. I mined out everything lol. My platforms shot so fast it looked like a lazer.

Are you planning on a Cryo thrower max run? I could see that actually being somewhat easy if you get enough beams and uptime. Combine that with high enough pick up radius and you could stand still and just hoover up the exp.

Nope mining buffs don't apply to weapons that mine. According to the devs

IMO the flame turret is the best mining weapon

For me nothing is even close to the Coil Gun because it pierces the terrain. So it's hitting way more blocks at once.

I feel like the targeting highest hp makes trying to mine with coil a but janky while torrent platform maxed out just passively shreds everything on screen as long as you also have a mostly strong run

@@kimhunter6733 I've tried to do this with all the others on easier maps to clear. Never managed it. Was very easy with Coil. Just my personal experience 🤷‍♂️

It would have been different if I'd gotten good luck on my Turrets. I do think adding range on the Coils Beams would make it destroy everything incredibly fast.
