To answer your question, besides BABYMETAL (The Heavy Music Club) Yui and Moa were in Mini-Pati (Cooking Club) and Twinklestars (Baton Club). 3rd Sakura Gakuin President Marina Horiuchi still has the record for most sub-units. She was in the original Mini-Pati, Twinklestars, Sleepiece (Go Home Club), Pastel Wind (Tennis Club) and Logica? (Science Club) BTW, Mini-Pati (or Minipati) is short for mini (small) + pâtisserie (a kind of French bakery that makes pastries and sweets).

Sometimes I think this generation of Mini-Pati is the best that has come out of Sakura Gakuin, Juonbu (aka Babymetal) included. You should check out their graduation-medley if you can find it!

Plus keeping up their grades in regular school. Naturally Moa was happy to learn some new routines for M&M, and Yui for Funky Sakura Babys. As well as the Shuffle-units they participated in. In their spare time. : )

Mini Pati was a Sakura Gakuin sub-unit (the cooking club). It actually pre-dated Sakura Gakuin by a year but was incorporated into it as a sub-unit when all the members (Nene, Marina and Raura) became founding members of Sakura Gakuin. I've read that Su performed with them as well before Sakura Gakuin, but I haven't seen enough to be sure whether that is true or not. In the 2011 Nendo, the original Mini Pati passed the neckties to Moa, Yui and Hana who kept it going until they graduated in the 2014 Nendo. Mini Pati was carried on until the end of the 2017 Nendo with a different lineup (Aiko, Marin and Momoko) when most of the clubs were wrapped up.

All three girls were part of Sakura Gakuin, and Moa and Yui were simultanously part of the sub-units Babymetal, Mini-Pati and Twinklestars ( which I encourage you to check out!! ). Hana (with the red scarf) were only in Mini-Pati, if I remeber correctly, but she has also gone on to be a singer today - I believe that, she is in a musical group. And yes, please do more of these videos. Especially Logica (with Marina, Hinata and Rinon) is really good :) Best wishes

Hana was also in Pastel Wind (both generations), and of course the Pro-Wrestling Circle, which wouldn't exist without her. Since the Torahime Ichiza theater company (formerly at the Amuse Café Theater) went on hiatus at the end of July 2019, Hana has been "under employed".

I made a Mini Pati Logo T-shirt and it says "Acha!Cha!Karii!" and with the 3 sillouettes... I'm a die-hard fan of these three! This is the best Mini Pati with Yui, Moa and Hanna. All the songs recorded by these three are all awesome... you should go through them all!! 7 total!

OK, now I want to see Yui doing „Shanti, Shanti, Shanti“. :-( I have heard that pretty much all SG subgroup performances are playback, but I don’t know if it’s true. It was noticeable at a few points during this one, though. I don’t think that means they couldn’t do it, though, they are dancing and singing all the time for most of the other songs.

I'm a big Yui fan, but Baby-chan (Saki Ooga) also had weapons-grade levels of kawaii. And the current membership includes a hamster (Yume Nozaki) and a bunny rabbit (Sakia Kimura) that are both pretty darn adorable.

@@rickwagner- I just got around to seeing this. First off, we should not short-change the original members of Mini Pati. Back when it was formed in 2009 pre-Sakura Gakuin, Marina, Nene, and Raura were all pretty damn cute. I agree that when she first joined Sakura Gakuin, Saki Ooga was dangerously adorable. If there can be such a thing as the new Yui and Moa, it would be the team of Yume Nozaki and Sakia Kimura. When those two angels are together they are so cute it hurts. I have not seen their level of kawaii since Yui and Moa circa 2010-2011. And I am certain that if I am fortunate enough to live to see 12th Sakura Gakuin class president Yume Nozaki graduate, Sakia's farewell to her will leave us all in tears.

This video gave me a tough decision. Do I do the responsible thing and pay attention to the ZOOM meeting presentation for work, which I had little interest in, or do I watch Minipati??? I chose Minipati but don't tell anyone. :) This one does seem mimed or at least there's post editing but I've heard plenty of Sakura Gakuin videos that were clearly sung live so who knows.

I think the full group songs were done live (with the possible exception of Heart no Hoshi due to the tricky choreography) but the sub-unit songs tended to be mimed. That said, some of the older girls would sing live over it anyway.
