Rad! Glad you like the ramp, I’m a part of the team that built it. We’re called fearless ramps. Local council wanted something aimed toward beginners and young riders. We designed this with the older more experienced skaters in mind too. You can have a lot of fun there. Really playful ramp!

Awesome mate! You guys did good! Refreshing to see something that isn’t 5/6ft and concrete! Really is a lovely little training ramp! Material was nice too! I posted this on fb and it got quite a few questions as to who built it… so hopefully you’ll get a couple more costumers soon as local councils seem to be pushing for concrete still and there was a lot of i interest for this type! Council think they can just build it and forget about if it’s concrete but Unfortunately concrete needs more attention than these ramps. I reckon if this ramp is looked after and has the screws replaced once a decade it will last for a loooong time! Well done dudes 👊 can’t wait to go back one day!

@@georgiospapadopoulos2066 no I wish I knew how as I was a dnb dj for awhile. But I’ve never touched that software. I tend to use bootlegs that avoid copyright. Sometimes they’ll be copyrighted but allowed so I don’t get stikes! and sometimes I’ll use the KZbin audio library which is all free.

Found it and I like! Chopper gunner a new one on me but his KZbin name is napes which rings a bell in my head! So… if you go onto that song on KZbin and scroll down into the description. It will say 1 song and will have the song that’s used for the mix. Or the name of the released copy. When it shows the songs that means you’ll get a copyright on vid (not a strike) so the user normally allows it to be used. Just means they’ll receive the revenue. The one I used doesn’t have that song linked to it in the description. When I upload it it doesn’t say anything in the copyright bit. I’m unsure of why and how tbh and I still think if I was to get monetised KZbin would probably do a deeper copyright delve into my vids and they’d probably get pulled up meaning almost 90 percent of my vids I wouldn’t get the dosh for. I suppose I’ll never know until someone else can explain it to me or I eventually get monetised and work it out myself! I do feel a little shaddy nicking tunes that aren’t mine but if they get the revenue it kinda justifies it. It must be the reason why almost all songs are allowed to be used nowadays. Sorry if you already knew that! Get lots of questions about the music stuff! Thought this was the perfect time to explain 👊

Have you tried cross locking your fs 50 50's, but instead of letting the back truck hang, you let you front truck hang on the coping (you'd almost get into a smith, but that front wheel will still be against the coping)? I know it seems counter intuitive, since you need to do the opposite backside, but trust me, it gives you great leverage to get back into the ramp and does not hang up. Also, it makes the trick look much better and more controlled, since you don't need to prepare and do the wind up to get back down, you just do a little hop.
@Sk8Comeback

Yeah I know how to cross lock bud haha! just a consistency thing on new ramps. This was a tiny coping! Watch some other clips n you’ll see some proper 50s 👊

True story if they built every skatepark with one of these skate shops would still be a thing and the industry wouldn’t be broke.
@Sk8Comeback
@Sk8Comeback 4 ай бұрын
never thought of it like that! That’s a really good point mate! How can skate shop thrive when the local park doesn’t? Interestingly the only skate shop that ever survived in my area was when we’re 15 years old! Some local lads opened a shop round the corner from Sudbury skate park. (Which was always packed) lovely wooden park. That little skateshop was called Blimbox and it was always busy! Wasn’t until the skate park got destroyed by bmxers that the skate shop died! Kinda makes what you say make sense! 👊

@@Sk8Comeback yeah man, in my area local skate shop owner built a park back in the day when street skateboarding was the thing, he made it all really steep transition, was cool for 2 years while all the die hards were still around, but his shop is a bakery now and the only people you see touching that transition are kids on scooters. It’s sad. The only way a sport can thrive in a area is if there are parks that support beginner, intermediate and advanced. Needs to be a balance or it all flakes out.
