Private vehicle fitness test for re-registration is IMPOSSIBLE without paying bribe. I have personal experience. MVD will come up with a list of non-sence issues to fail the test. The moment you pay the bribe, all those issues are ignored and you get a PASS. This fitness test need to be moved to a private professional agency with clear checklist if the minister have any interest to cut the corruption in this agency. Minister send someone to fitness testing ground in Trivandrum tomorrow itself and see how many agents are submitting applications to MVD. All those are bribed applications and they will all get PASS irrespective of vehicle condition.
