Stop twisting things. The orher minister who was lauded for saying 'I don't know' when asked whether there would be a positive or negative outcome on an ongoing decision. An opinion based thing, he said 'I don't know' instead of giving a politicians response. This is a minister who decides so many things for children, and he doesn't know a basic essential stat for his main role. Like a pilot not knowing his altitude or a doctor not knowing which bone the ribcage is attached to.

To be fair, not knowing easily Googled facts isn't super important. If you're the Minister for Children, your job is to advocate for your government department and ensure that the actual experts (Civil Servants) have a budget to do the things they have recommended. We'd interview the civil servants if we cared about answers.
