Most schools pay thousands of pounds on school improvement partners...... most school improvement partners are also Ofsted Inspectors!!! Why can't Ofsted inspectors work more like school improvement partners without schools having to pay through the nose for it?

Get rid of OFSTED. Bring back HMI - real inspectors, who were full time, not just somebody offered a few days' work, and who inspected the teaching - not just the "policies".

None of the schools ministers fill me with any confidence at all. Can we have them inspected and reported on? In line with Ofsted, inspectors of MPs wouldn't need to know anything at all about politics.

Who inspects the inspectors? The ones I have met were incompetent at best and downright dangerous in their ignorance. Want to know what a school is like? Get off your backside and go and look at them! Parents were always welcome to look round my schools and ask any question they wished. There is no subsitiute for seeing for yourself.
