Minister Wilkinson comments after energy ministers’ conference in Calgary - July 5, 2024

Federal Energy Minister Jonathan Wilkinson holds a media availability in Calgary to conclude the annual Energy and Mines Ministers’ Conference. This year’s three-day conference was co-hosted by the federal and Alberta governments. Alberta ministers Brian Jean (energy and minerals) and Nathan Neudorf (affordability and utilities) are also in attendance.
The ministers face questions on a number of topics, including Alberta's concerns over federal energy policies and the potential effects of an emissions cap on Alberta's economy.
