Badger Minitaire Ghost Tints are great for shading, creating metallic sheen, scorched gun barrels and smoke stacks, creating weathering and blaster marks. Usually used with an airbrush, we'll take a look at the color palette. The Krome was used in this video and the air compressor is a Badger Asprire Pro.

The whole line is fantastic but the ghost tints are what makes the line so irresistibly usable for me. Chung I promise I'm working on a video with these paints and I am also going to focus on some practical applications for the ghost tints for speed painting.

Thanks for putting this together, Chung! I think the Ghost Tints are the most useful part of the Minitaire line for me. Plasma Fluid, Purple and Brown are going to get some serious use in my workflow. I wish the bottles weren't frosted or tinted, though -- about half of the Ghost Tints look exactly the same on the shelf! Oh well. Happy 2013!

Thanks for the videos and the techniques, im new to the airbrush and i was a looking for airbrush paints user friendly im so happy i came across this line of paints i really use them straight from the pot and they look awesome. My only problem is i haven't found a conversion chart from GW/P3/armypainter to minitaire and is sad because ill like to continue paint my armies same tone but using my new minitaire paints ( bought the whole line of paints !!!!) please help me, more interested in the color equivalent for reds. BTW A proper conversion chart it will be beneficial for Badger since many people still hesitant because of this, i know minitaire is what they've been looking for but the uncertainty in color matching make many ppl think twice

Thanks for video. I really just want to try one of them out before committing to buying the whole range. Any idea when Badger will make singles available for sale? I'd love to get my local game store to stock these or even if it were on Amazon it'd be great.

Yeh it's really thin almost like water so it can go right into the brush.

You're talking about putting a coat on TOP of the oil wash right? ANY clear coat should work just fine, not just these or Kyrlons. I use Liquitex and Winson & Newton clear coats to cover the wash. I even use future floor shine. No problems at all. Just make sure that your oil wash is COMPLETELY dry and you won't have any problems.

Let me start by saying I absolutely love your channel. I do have a question about the Minitaire line of paints, specifically the flat, satin, and gloss coats. Are these coats good enough to use oil washes with mineral spirits? I saw a sweet video from Steamforged on painting the Kraken and I want to try oil washing but I do not want to ruin my model. Can these coats be used for that or am I better of getting Krylon sealers and waiting till it gets warmer out?

thanks for the great video. this is the first i've heard of this product and was wondering if it's worth getting. i already have a large selection of vallejo Colors so could i get a similar result mixing up a home brew of paint with airbrush thinner and matt medium (or glaze medium)?. It seems similar to applying a thin glaze by brush
