Seiko SARY053 - Review and Measurements

Amazing review and definitely the first one out there! I hate to admit but I might have mislead you, my apologies. When you asked about the black brown dial I had denied it, but when I do shine a very bright light on it, it does in fact have a brown reflection. I hadn't noticed it until you pointed it out in this video! Solly! Again wonderful review and keep them coming :) I'd be interested in some of the white enamelled dials (SARD007 SARX027 SARW011) but no moola for one now.

You'll find most "black" is really brown or red.

I have the same watch, but with the Presage logo on the Dial (SSA357J1). It´s a very, very beatifull and special watch. For it´s price, it´s almost unbelivable. So much atention on the details, stunning bracelet, safira, the polish hands and inserts on the dial. I love this watch. Congrats for the review. Amazing!

I think this watch is an SRP529J (JDM version is SARY057) with an open heart and a brown dial. I have the SRP529J and it's a great bargain -- feels like a beefier Rolex Explorer 1 ref#214270 (39mm version).

Hi Curt, I bought it Hong Kong for $2,492 (hkd) which is about $320 (usd). I think it can be had for under $300 on amazon. The 055 is also nice but the white dial looked huge on my wrist. Cheers.

Hi there Curt, I have a new watch. One word : TUNA Seiko SBBN017 + SBBN15 bracelet, arrived earlier this month. I like it very very very very much. ^^ If you can get your hands on a 300m Tuna, do a review. Because of the small lug to lug, it fits smaller wrist as well. I have 6.75 wrist. keep up the good work.

Probably not anytime soon. As it stands, this channel is funding the watches with adsense and affiliate links. It's growing, though and I would love to do so. My wrists are 6.5" as well. Wish there were more reviews on this watch. In this review you seem to gravitate towards the SARY over the SARB. In your follow up video on the 033 you spoke of your love for it. I'm curious which of the two watches you would choose if given the choice? Also any knowledge on the quality and reliability of the sary movement vs the 6R15c in the carb. I own a Sarb065 with a 6R15c and love it. any noticeable quality difference between the two?
