Great work, but I'll never put my camera and my gimbal on that tiny bending pole!

pretty long for small indoor set but on the right track for out door shooting ( Im worried about the bend in the length of the rig also) I like your style ... you build slow and sure

I am worried about the bend too. :-)

Can you show me how you would run power cables down to a vmount battery on the bottom?.
@reelemotions2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, Sorry, Sorry for the late reply. I overlooked your comment. I use rubber bands to attach cables, sometimes with a knot and sometimes I wrap them around something. So when th cable gets accidentally cought the rubber band expands and the cable takes no damage.

@@reelemotions will you make a short video and show me what you mean please
@reelemotions2 жыл бұрын
@@TheBlaznbowls Sorry, it is difficult for me to describe a knot. The name of the knot I usually use is Larks Head Knot. The idea to use this method is not from me. I also learned it from a youtube video, I think it was form Matti Haapoja but I am not sure, I tried to find it yesterday to give you the link but I could not find it. I am sure there are more videos that describe how to run cables, so I hope you will excuse me if I do not make another video about it.

What's the eyepiece-device you're wearing in the last shot? Is it an eye tracker, or possibly a remote EVF?
@reelemotions2 ай бұрын
it is called Vufine, like a real world picture in picture device, it has an internal battery but needs a hdmi cable. store.vufine.com/

Having the camera and gimbal secured with one-1/4 20 adapter thread is just asking for trouble. I know you want to save weight, but REALLY?
@reelemotions3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I share your concern. You are not the first person to point out this weakness. Therefore, I am planning to conduct a test to see how much force the adapter can withstand. I have a lot of work to do, so the video about the test will not be published before late August. I beg your patience.

@@reelemotions did you already test it? i am currently working on the exact same thing. i use a 3/8 screw, but i am also using the crane 3s together with the bmpcc4k, which is much heavier
