Love it!! ❤ I agree to put something to cushion bc of risk of hitting the window like someone else commented. Also, I would do bungee cords going vertically so you don’t have to use as many 😊 But I love these storage things from Ikea and this is a brilliant idea all around!

Nice setup. I do question whether that taller section could hit the back window hard enough to break it during traveling maneuvers.. Perhaps add something to cushion the top edge?I'm

So far it hasn’t been a problem at all because it’s quite solid and doesn’t move a lot…but I may put something to cushion it just to be cautious…

Suggestion. You have chosen one of the most heavy medium size furniture that ikea has. Add items to it and you'll break your back moving. it's that kind of heavy. I have this unit and wouldn't dare put it in a vehicle that is not a power strong vehicle. * tryst me that 8 thougt of putting it my camping vehichle yrs ago.and reconsidered. This will put much weight and pull gas, especially being all the way in the back. The idea is good but maybe have someone build you.something like it but with lighter material. I know I looked at Target that has the stairs concept but with cubes. 3/4 lighter. You may want to play by adding shelves like the ikea unit.
