This was such a great kit. It never should have been discontinued

GW had a made to order thing in the fall, my wall of martyrs sets just arrived a day ago! Almost got it all painted up. GW definitely needs to release some gigantic, modular, awesome terrain like these again

I have a suggestion. On the floor of the second Large bastion place some tank hatches it will give it a nice look and also gives the idea of a Bunker exit or entrances. One of my buddies had that problem and I gave him imperial hatches. :) GREAT JOB THE TECH PRIEST HAVE BLESSED YOU.

i bet you could build a hive city if you got enough of em or at least a section of it

I wouldnt kick yourself too hard still looks cool as hell. Thanks for the informative video for potential pitfalls. Now Im just wondering what a "That Guy" rules lawyer neck beard would have to say about its points cost.

for the rings on the landings where you wanted to reverse the roofs. You can make a conversion and make something like a holo-projected image there or a platform with no image but is an empty holo-projector. stained glass (cellophane) or something else to make it happen :)

Thanks for the vid. Been wondering what these were like to build. I'm going to grab myself a couple of these now. Cheers

im inspired by the big bastion now i want to buld the same but with a left wing the tower of redemption on top
@warhammer301212 жыл бұрын
Well, with all the left over walls, you could proboably have fire points wherever you want.

On second thought, I believe I will get the files for the bastion.

ive used these kits a while bk and they are easy to build or change i started simpl and split one bastion into a 1 floor bunker and a 2/3rd size bastion then went on to build bigger buildings its very easy

hey if i put a quad cannion from that set on a tank body (imperial guard tank body) can it be considered a hydra flack tank

Logan .H yes, if it's a GW product, and looks obviously like/similar to a specific model, then it's permitted inside a GW store, and or GW tournament (99% of the time). As for 3rd party hosts, it's up to their house rules really, and your opponent being fun or rude.
@williamnichols5395 жыл бұрын
You might need two guardsmen models to operate it.

I've thought about building something based on the WW2 German flak towers out of these.

What base colour do you use for these kinds of terrains?
@starscream00312 жыл бұрын
This is an off the wall question, have you ever done any videos on the sisters of battle? And do you know if gw is planning on making SoB finecast pieces?

Actually I find it better that the fire points are looking out in different directions. I find it more logical to try and build a fortress so that you can shot in all possible directions.
@jeffclarke9292 жыл бұрын
more logical is to build a fortress with only a few specific firing directions because everywhere else is completely inaccessible like a curved mountain face. all you then need are anti air bastions atop the mountain itself. problems completely solved

i would correct your spelling but your just too awesome
