I am aware of this but stoats kill just for the sake of killing even when there not hungry its really sick that so many people glorify of seeing an animal in pain yes animals need to eat but the graphic details aren't necessary

tf? it always happens in nature. so if you interfere, the mink goes home with no food, and when its crippled of starvation, you won't feel anything just because it isnt as cute as the rabbit? i feel bad for the rabbit, but you cant always save animals

You should never have gotten that close! By that time, the mink could have ran off and the rabbit was going to die by that time anyway. Just watch from afar and leave nature to nature.

Ya I should have taken away the food from the mink in the dead of winter so the wounded rabbit could suffer it’s remaining days and the mink would starve. Not to mention there are rules and regulations with all fur bearing animals in my state. Mother Nature can be cruel no doubt but that’s the nature of the beast my friend.
